@4931nextdoor HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Alicia!!
@carma Carl, wow, winter is here. We're supposed to get some solid precip here in NJ and down in Virginia (where I'm heading tomorrow). Not as much as you (in theory). We'll see what happens.

@4931nextdoor Happy Birthday, Alicia!!
Not as cold today but I had to scrape my car windows when I went out at 7:25 am to go to Yoga class. Guess it's finally autumn. For next week, there's mention of rain/snow showers.

Fran @fran2 My aim is to eventually have a NON collectors home....well kind of...lol After Dh passed away my purpose has been to gradually downsize all collections.Once that is down I will probably move to a smaller home with a smaller yard.
Alicia @4931nextdoor it's so nice of you took the time to drop by during this very hard time ((((((((HUGS))))))) No words will take your pain away so all I can offer is cyber ((((Hugs)))))

Gail @songbreeze Yes it is very very sad and a very tough time for dear Alicia @4931nextdoor. My heart goes out to her. She is such a beautiful lady and so is her family. Makes you wonder why good things happen to good people. Alicia, Jerry, their daughter and Grand daughter showed Mels and me around Disneyland when we were over there visiting. We had such a great time.

Good Morning everyone. Its much cooler today then yesterday. Thank Heavens!! I started my day with a bootcamp session on the beach and then a few of us went for breakfast afterwards at a lovely cafe. A nice way to kick start my weekend.
Carl @carma nice hat, do we get a pic of you modelling it?
Alicia@4931nextdoor Those kind of temps are ahead for us down here.and it's not summer yet. The humidity yesterday arvo was a killer. I only had to blink and the perspiration was running off me.

Alicia @4931nextdoor All painting leads me into, is a big mess. I am the worlds worst with paint. I seem to get it everywhere except where it is to go LOL If I attempted to paint the front door, I would have paint all over the verandah, I'd have it walked down the hallway, I'd have it all over me and God knows where else through out the house. There'd be paint handprints everywhere LOL. Gordon banned me from painting many many years ago LOL

Shelly @shellyrae37 my ute with camper slide on is just way too high to fit through a car wash. I use a soft bristle broom with a long extension handle to wash the front of the camper

Shelly @shellyrae37 I heard about the Pakistan tragedy on the car radio this morning, very tragic 🙁
Alicia @4931nextdoor Miss P is so interested in hearing about Poppy Gordon and my Dad, her great Grand father. It amuses her that her great grand father's name is Pa Perry LOL Photos and items about the house are a great way for teaching her and she asks questions. D is a bit young yet so it was only Miss P and I that did the Xmas decorations. He will join us next year. -
Made it to SF and we're in our hotel room.
@4931nextdoor Alicia, how are you? I hope doing well. Yes, this is DH's annual meeting (AGU -- American Geophysical Union). And yes, my SIL lives in La Jolla. DH was actually in LA/Long Beach last week, I couldn't go as it was end of semester for me.
@fyrqueen Katie, so sorry to hear about little Bryan. I'm assuming it's DIPG. The daughter of friend's of my daughter died just over a year ago, just before her 11th birthday. They have set up a foundation, Smashing Walnuts, as the tumor is the size of a walnut. I've been involved in various fund-raisers and awareness programs for childhood cancer -- it is such an awful thing.

Good Morning everyone. It is a gorgeous warm sunny morning but I can hear the storm birds so maybe we will get some rain later. We do need it again. Its been a few days since I have had a chance to check in and scroll the board.
I have a very hectic weekend planned , lots of socialising 🙂 It is a Long Weekend here and I normally do a regular market where I head of Sunday and set up for the Monday market. But with this broken wrist there is no way I would attempt to drive my truck, especially on the narrow winding road I have to travel. There is no room for error. Plus I can't lift my tubs of stock or carry and set up the tables using one hand. I have thought and thought of ways I could do it. But ..I have conceded ..its not going to happen

Good morning, glassies. I'm running around the past couple of days like a chicken with my head chopped off. I just finished applying contact paper to more than 100 8x10 mat boards. Now I'm decorating them with leaves and pens which is really a very slow job. I really need to do about 140, but I decided to get a hundred done first, then worry about the others later.
Off to the post office already this morning and just getting ready to wash my hair and gather up what all I need for my afternoon at the museum. Still crocheting like mad for Oktoberfest.
I've got my paper work...sales, inventory etc. to do for August, but I've keep putting it off. Well, for now, I have to run and start getting ready for the afternoon.

Good Monday morning to you all. I plan an easy day going at a slow pace. Will need to get van cleaned out and outside washed, a bit of housework and washing and in between a bit of time on the computer.Whatever takes my fancy. LOL
Reen @reen 😆 at the swimming goggles
Wendy @wjweese I did have a nice long soak in a hot bath .Always feels so good after a swapmeet. But this morning my eyes are still feeling gritty and I am sneezey But I don't expect anything else on a Monday morning after a swapmeet LOL And this one is the worst for dust and dirt.Over a thousand outdoor sites in the showground and around the trotting track (dirt) You can get the picture having all those vehicles moving around on it to get to and from their stalls and then all the shoppers kicking up the dust as they walk.
Alicia @4931nextdoor I received a flyer over the weekend and there is a new swap starting up (again) just 2 mins drive from me in 2 weeks times But I doubt I will do it. For some reason those ones that have been held there have never been a success. Plus I have a "party" weekend that same weekend. The group I do bootcamp with are having a night out on the town and I don't want to miss that LOL

Thank you for the Happy Birthday wishes everybody!!! And the cakes all look yummy. But @4931nextdoor Alicia's cakes are amazing -- who knew there were kayak cakes!! DD is here from Virginia for the weekend. We have a birthday trifecta -- this past Wednesday was my mom's birthday, today is mine, and next Saturday is DD's -- three generations of birthdays in a two-week span (and we're all Leos). So last night was a BBQ at my sister's house for which my mom baked two birthday cakes. Tonight we'll go out to DD's favorite Chinese restaurant.

Good afternoon everyone. Markets were good. Weather was good . Started out very cold and foggy but once that lifted it was a gorgeous day and the crowds came and they spent 🙂
Got word that rain was on its way, (mobile phones and technology is a wonderful thing) so I decided to start packing up (it was getting very close to packing up time anyway as the crowds had started to thin right down) and got it done just in time before the rain came. Rained all the way home. So I am very pleased

Good morning, glassies. Cold here in NE Oklahoma but very manageable cold. 27° right now, will warm to close to 40°.
@carma CARL … When you didn’t post yesterday, I wondered if you were frozen solid from all those below zero temps you’ve been having.
@donscns DON … Thought of you yesterday when I was going through my Coudersport Glass book…had nearly 20 water sets pictured in beautiful colors, lovely shapes and enamel decorations.
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... Thanks for the compliments for my grandbabies. 🙂 How interesting that you will be in Indianapolis in April. Do you have relatives there? The glass show doesn't start til April 18. Will you still be there? I'd love to go and meet all the people I've known only through Cyberspace.

Good afternoon, glassies. I'm running around like a chicken with my head chopped off trying to get packed, phone and camera batteries charged, checkbook balanced, .... and have to get the dogs out to the kennel. Sister is coming over to help as Big Ginny HATES a collar and leash and thinks they are only for dragging her human around the yard. Rocky, though tiny, is feisty and thinks if the front door opens he has license to run away from home and frolic about town. Costs a fortune to kennel the twerps. The cats will be on their own for 2 1/2 days, then sister will return and check on them for the next couple of days. I set out 3 separate kitty litters for them, a wash tub of water, and a wash pan of food. Plus I bought a ton of toys to scatter about the house.
@allirish123 TRACY ... be sure and read all the new policies before listing...no text on the pics, no frames allowed on gallery pics, return policy, on and on. Gotten to be a painful process. I use Auctiva and pay 9.99 a month. I like their templates and also you can schedule your auction start times for free. But I closed my eBay store and haven't listed anything in the last month, so don't know how long I'll continue with Auctiva. I opened a ruby lane store and have no need of a template there. Best of luck!
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... what splendid items! So sorry that I'm absolutely no help.
@mainewildrose SUE ... We are all here to learn and I for one never find additional information "belaboring"...to the contrary, I find it very helpful reinforcement and appreciate it greatly.
@jerseystar NANCY P ... you get your DD all moved into her new place only for you and her to leave it?! LOL. Maybe you both are so tired from the moving you had to take a vacation from it. 🙂
@favoritegram LAINEY ... do not know the story on your DD's son, but if prayers are welcome for strength and healing, count me in.
@reen REEN ... I can understand wanting to take a lot to auction, but would you quit selling entirely? For all the frustration, I still enjoy watching an auction or listing or item I have in booth to see if it will sell.
HI to GAILMAC, CARL, HELEN, AMBER, DON, GEORGE, and SHELLY.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

@4931nextdoor Alicia, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
I've been having trouble staying awake and waking up in the morning -- for me it's a combination of getting over the 5 days without power, the time change, and going out to the West Coast. Usually we fly out at night which means you're exhausted by the time you get to the hotel, but you go to sleep and wake up in the morning and are okay. But because of the canceled flight, we had a 9 am flight, which meant trying to stay awake for a really, really long day. Never caught up on sleep while we were there as I kept waking up at 5:30 am. But found I was just as tired once we got home.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALICIA!!! @4931nextdoor -
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... I think I signed up for pininterest but I just couldn't get the gist of it. The same with Google+. And Twitter baffled me completely...never could figure out if you were suppose to Use a @ for something or what the hashtag business was about. I'm barely able to just hobble around in Facebook so I haven't ventured to get involved with anything else. Maybe if my kids lived closer by and could show me how things work.....
@jmart8248 IRENE M ... not familiar with your stemware, but I bet SUZY @suzy would love to see them as she loves dragonflies. Do you have a picture?
@ver2us1 JANICE ... Do you know what method of mailing all the perfume collectors use? I didn't realize you couldn't mail it either.
Hmmmmm, as I continued to scroll up the board, I see UPS works for shipping perfume.
@donscns DON ... oh my my my my my That surely is some bowl!
-
Good morning, glassies. I'm just slow and tired this morning and think I won't answer the phone all day today. 🙂 Will be interesting to see if I get anything accomplished today other than just sitting at my computer, staring into space, and sipping coffee.
The seller I bought the damaged bottle from sure was nice and refunded my money with no hassle.
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... ah, the hardest bid to get is that very first one. I get frustrated when I have lots of watchers and no bid as I, too, think that the exposure on The Collector's Weekly helps. Good luck with your listings.
@donscns DON ... so pleased to hear you had such a fine experience with your latest purchase. You've really had some disappointments in the past.
@abzoid TOBY ... best of luck on the auctions. Hope you will be posting pictures of new acquisitions soon!
@gailmacphee GAIL MAC ... If only 2 or 3 of the items in Clum's auction showed up at a local auction, all of us dealers in this area would be trampling each other to get to it. I just can't fathom hundreds of gorgeous items all at once. Boggles my mind.
-
Good afternoon, glassies. Quite a day today. Got almost to Tulsa with my friend when she found out she had the wrong day for her doctor’s appointment. Visited several antique stores in Claremore and Chelsea instead and some other stores for retail items. Just got home a few minutes ago. Another hot humid day, so just sitting here enjoying the a/c. Picked up a few items that I need to research.
@wattleihavenext JULIE … I’ve just begun my scroll so I’m very curious if anyone has commented yet on the carnival glass. Beautiful color!
YIKES! I see CARL commented right away on it and what a price he said it should bring! WOW!
@10bbg10 HELEN … glad you got your store back up and at it. I hope Auctiva isn't acting up as I have just got to get some listings done.
@donscns DON … glad your DMIL is doing well from her cataract surgery. Sorry you didn’t get any moisture with your thunderstorm. I like the Australia/U.S. map comparison.
@4931nextdoor ALICIA … sure enjoyed seeing the wedding pictures on FB…but not one pic of YOU could I find! So sorry to hear of your daughter’s woes. It’s just so very sad. In order to show up on collector’s weekly, I believe it has to be an auction and have a bid on it. I had an item with 19 watchers…but no bids…so it didn’t show.
HI to GEORGE, GAIL MAC, BOB, CHAR, BILL, BEAR, and MARSON!

Good Morning everyone. Absolutely miserable weather down here. The coast is copping a caning, torrential rain and strong winds and very high seas. Hence no swimming for me this week. Hopefully tomorrow.
Carl @carma Thanks As you well know, I know nothing about carnival glass and I was very curious about the going price of that piece.
Helen @10bbg10 Good luck with your Xray
Don @donscns I am glad your MIL surgery went well.

So sorry to hear about DD#4 marriage breakup ((((hugs ))))
Bear @jpthings Maybe if you have a new dishwasher they might be safe. These new ones have all sorts of cycles and aren't as harsh as the old one. But saying that. I have no idea if it is a good idea or not to use a dishwasher on them.

@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... This will be such little help, but FWIW it might be an area to look into... I went to eapgpatterns.com and really couldn't find anything...alot of the block and late block pieces look similar...but I did find one interesting thing. It was a lamp, and it was a little confusing, but the lamp base looked alot like your rose bowl. The name of the lamp was listed as ANNIE ROONEY, but the base and the shade were two different patterns with different names. They said the lamp name was Annie Rooney aka Clear Block (base). But under comments its said This is not a mismatched shade and base. The lamp came with a #205 (Artichoke) shade and a #140 (Virginia-Early) base. So at one place they are calling the base Clear Block then Virginia-Early. Well, I looked in HMW's FOSTORIA Its First Fifty Years, but could not find a "Clear Block", a #140, or an "Early Virginia". Tried Replacements and couldn't find anything there.
-
@4931nextdoor ALICIA … that’s sure a pretty rose bowl. The glass looks really good and, like TOBY said, probably cut crystal.

Good Morning. Thursday here which means I have Miss P for the day. She is having her nap atm
Helen @10bbg10 Yes I am hopng the elephants have seats too. I think they do and with little canopies over the top. Seat belts would be an added bonus LOL
amber @amber1986 re will you guys and gals be drinking?
Is the Pope a Catholic ?
As for posting pics on here of my trip I doubt I will get a chance to visit here while away and trying to do all that on my smart phone will be a real PITA. Will just upload them to Face Book and when I get home I will post some here for those that aren't on FB
Laurie @wellingtonct My goodness , you certainly have had an "adventurous" few days. Glad to see you back in the swing of things
Alicia @4931nextdoor LOL You should have seen my sister and I walking when we last went on a 2hr horse ride. We hadn't been on a horse since we were about 17-18 years old . 😆 Our legs gave way when we got of the horses and then we couldn't walk And the fits of laughing didn't help any either 😆

Good Morning everyone. It is raining cats & dogs here and more on its way.Glad I got the lawn mowed yesterday.
Alicia @4931nextdoor I do remember your cobalt EAPC.One of these days the story will be found
Toby @abzoid thanks for the correct colour of the pink EAPC
Reen @reen love the dolls but know nothing. If they were mine I’d start my research with Germany or French origin

@4931nextdoor Alicia, I always bargain at glass shows, flea markets, etc. Usually I will say "I'm paying cash, can you do better on the price" (if they accept credit cards, you know they will give you a discount for paying cash) or if I'm interested in more than one item "If I buy both of these, would you be able to give me a better price".
-
@4931nextdoor ALICIA … I was using Warman’s Depression Glass Field Guide 3rd Edition by Ellen Schroy for my info on the pink torte plate and the BV of 48. Going back to double check it I see a page stuck to it and what I was looking at was actually English Hobnail. So very very sorry. I see the book gives no values for anything other than crystal. It does say "Made in crystal, with some limited production in colors." Sure sorry I gave you a bum steer on value.

Alicia @4931nextdoor - My 2¢ on the EAPC platter, for what it's worth. AH called that color cranberry. It was mostly used for ash trays and other novelties. As far as I know there were no dinnerware patterns produced in cranberry, at least as part of AH's regular line. BUT, the fact that the color was in production during some of the years EAPC was being made means that it would have been a choice for a special order during those years. AH was always open to doing special orders for retailers and distributors.

Good afternoon everyone. Sun is out again today but more rain predicted later this arvo.
Some regions down here are reported to have the worst floods in 160 yearsAlicia @4931nextdoor I am not sure of the most recent info on your platter but this is what I can tell you from me having had some of these in the past.
This pattern was manufured by Anchor Hocking, beginning in 1960 and details are sketchy as to the history of this
particular piece.
Debbie/ Luvtewshop originally purchased one of mine on eBay in 2001 Back then it was a hot topic of discussion at the time on Glass Chat Board because just the week before, a similar piece was purchased by glass book author Gene Florence from another Australian seller.(That seller was Clemo) TAGF was also bidding on this piece, but Debbie outbid him
No one seems to know too much about these pieces, other then that back then they had only been found in Australia ( well now you have one )and were apparently sold at Australian Cole’s Stores back in the 1960s.
The pieces found back then seemed to be limited to Platters and Relish Plates in this particular color and speculation is that it was either an experimental order or possibly a special order. Back then there was no documentation these pieces in this fabulous color! Clemo was told that TAGF was going to feauter the one he bought in his next book. But that didn't happen. I am not sure if he ever did do a book with the Pink EAPC platter or Relish in it. When we sold ours they brought a good price. I can't remember the exact figure but it was in the hundreds of $$$ (maybe $300??)
There was some suggestions that maybe it was an experimental order.Bill @itsagas WTG!!!!!

@10bbg10 HELEN ... I thought ShipSaver also included the postage with their insurance. Did they say why they didn't reimburse it?
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... Can't imagine what you learned from me about bargaining. I do bargain for just about everything, but I always take the tact of telling the dealer how beautiful their piece is and how proud they must be of it and how I'd love it to own it but just can't afford it right now...and I start walking away as my eyes linger lovingly over the piece. It's usually the dealer themself who starts the bargaining process then. What a devil I am! 😉
My book shows a 14" d pink EAPC torte plate with a BV $48. Never got an ID on the plates. Still have them and love them. Will have to try again sometime. I did see one for sale just like it on eBAY which was clearly embossed with FRANCE on it, but mine have no mark at all on them. I think I'll try and EAPG group and post a picture again.

@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... so good to see you posting. Hope everything's been going well for you. Yes, it is the Chow they abandoned over a year ago. She roams the neighborhood and you can't keep her penned in. She scares alot of people. She's more than 10 years old, her teeth are very bad. I keep her in a dog house on my front porch and feed her. Have a warming mat for her and a warming water dish so it won't freeze. I'm the only person whe will let come up to her and pet her. She's really a dear. But our town has had a couple of bad dog attacks, one on an elderly person and one on a three year old child. Big fines now if your dog is running loose...and the law says not only if you "own" it but if you "harbour" it. I just can't take on that responsibility that someone could be hurt.

@4931nextdoor Alicia, that is beautiful! What a wonderful daughter (and great writer!) you have. It's really wonderful that your family grew up knowing what is truly important in life. But oh how great when one of your children turns around and shows you that it was all worth it. (And I'm in tears too!)

Gail @songbreeze I am really enjoying this rain and the cooler temps but sadly to say they are predicting hotter temps tomorrow and over the weekend with high humidity..YUCK,
Alicia @4931nextdoor beautiful story. -
@enchantmentglass KELLI ... I actually was planning on doing some auctions today, but instead I have marked the calendar to wait until the end of this 5-day period to list.
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... what a headache! For me, it is a great advantage to be so centrally located in the U.S. Never too much variation in the calculated postage.
@justmim MIM ... I've got cookie crumbs all over my keyboard and desk, yum yum.
@fyrqueen KATIE ... I have one small dog, a Shih Tzu, and one cat. How can the vacuum cleaner continually find so much pet hair about the house. Surely these animals should be naked by now. The Rogaine company should do research on how pets can grow so much hair!
@jerseystar NancyP ... waiting to see pictures of your trip and your new treasures. Always enjoy your travel pics.
@bethbarg BETH .. I guess I've always thought of Etsy as more home-made arts and crafts. I'll have to look again. Still the same tune though of not enough traffic and not wanting to go totally to fixed prices. Oh, but for someone to come and rescue the "old" eBay....

Got home late last night from Seattle. Really had a lovely time -- bought some glass (new & old) and some lovely earrings. Will share some photos soon.
@4931nextdoor Happy Birthday, Alicia!!
@suzy Was going to say that shakers #2 were not Octagon as I have one and they're the wrong shape. I see that a correct id came along.

Good Morning everyone, hot and humid here and of all things in need of doing today is mowing the lawn and doing the edges. Its not going to be easy in this weather 🙁
Thanks everyone for your condolences for the loss of a good mate.
Helen @10bbg10 Thanks for sharing Patricks life it with us
@4931nextdoor 🙁 What a sad story (((((hugs))))))
Happy Birthday Alicia

Had to take a break to heat up the coffee and eat some more of MIM's cookies as I scroll up the board.
@shellyrae37 SHELLY ... Gee, wished I knew something about lamps and oil lamps. Those would interest me too. Oh, as I scroll I see REEN was able to help with the oil lamps. Great!
@wellingtonct LAURIE ... Well, all the fixin's for the installation of the antenna are here and waiting. The weather just wouldn't cooperate this weekend though. I understand none of the details and just rely on the fellow to install it correctly as he did so for my sister at her house. Crossing my fingers. 🙂
Also on the right hand sidebar there is "How To Post A Picture Link" which has additional information on resizing your photo. Glad you posted again on how useful it is to use the 4th link particularly for those on dial-up.
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... I see the Happy Birthday worked just great and is showing in the sidebar.

Good Morning everyone. Another hot one ahead for us .That will be 5 hot humid days in a row over 30Celsius. Yesterday reached 35C and the storm bypassed us again. I could hear the distant thunder but it decided to swing past us 🙁
Loved the dress & shoe clips ladies, thanks for sharing
Helen @10bbg10 glad your Dh is home & doing well
Alicia @4931nextdoor I feel your pain (((((hugs))))) Renovating is a nightmare when you are also a collector. There are things here I want done/redone but then I look at all I must move and just shake my head and say another time LOL
And yes Little P is adorable. She is now understanding giving kisses & hugs and throwing kisses . She just melts my heart. I love her to bits that much i could burst
Kelli @enchantmentglass I am so glad eBay removed your neg. Sometimes they do see sense. I had one I undeservedly received, removed
Julie -
@4931nextdoor Alicia, glad I found it. I think Kelli also had that vase but not in neowhatsis. My sister gave me mine as a birthday present, I love it!
Apparently living in a cold house is not a good thing. Since the heat came back yesterday, I've been sneezing. Feel yuck today (though I am trying to take in as much vitamin C as possible).

@4931nextdoor Alicia -- is this the same vase? https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/GK47zT2ZyytTcyF-N2lAKAdJrKUOuE6DwIvnkxj9j4c?feat=directlink It's mine and I was told it was Czech but not anyone famous like Moser.

Good Morning everyone, cool and raining here today.
I am glad yesterday is behind me.The funeral brought back some painful memories and to top it off they played one of the songs I played at Gordon's funeral, so needless to say my sister and myself totally lost it for awhile. Thanks for the cyber hugs. It does help.@carma GO SAINTS!!
Alicia @4931nextdoor what a wonderful proposal It's so lovely to know that romance is still alive & kicking
Possum @neacenacks sorry to hear you are not well (((hugs))))@fran
Happy Birthday Fran -
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... That sounds like it was just a fantastic weekend! How darling was the proposal! And still lots of festivities to come. Sounds wonderful. As far as my trip, I'd love to meet up with you, but this is a really fast trip this time. Just have one week and my DS has already made plans on certain days. I'll only be gone from Friday to Friday. I'm flying this time.
As far as Auctiva, I use it, but I just don't catch where you are talking about. I'm not at all familiar with a box that says Buyer Pays Return Shipping...nor one that says Sellers pays. Have I just been oblivious? Some things I have listed with No Returns...paper products, photos, cds, etc....things that can be easily reproduced. Otherwise, I went in and changed all my returns accepted to 14 days, but also I have listed in the details Notify me within 3 days of Delivery Confirmation if the item is significantly different than what is described. If I have erred in the description, the item will need to be returned within 14 days of Delivery Confirmation receipt. I will refund your costs upon receipt of the item in its original box with its original packing materials and with my SECURITY MARK INTACT.
Looking at my listings it says Buyer pays return, but I don't remember adding that. Not much help, am I...

Good afternoon everyone. Back from my weekend away and we all had a great time. Dear friend decided he would ride his bike, said he felt good, no pain and his wife travelled with me in the car. We had a good heart to heart talk, her knowing I knew exactly what she is going through right now. We did get a bit teary at times but all in all we did have a good time.
Thanks everyone for the postive thoughts and prayers for Terry. I don't want to get too morbid or drag this chat into depression. But can you also pray/ send postive thoughts for my brother who is having an operation for prostate cancer tomorrow.
@reen (((((hugs)))) to you and positive thoughts for your friend.
@4931nextdoor Alicia raoflmaopmp re turd tavern. I was only talking about that today on the drive home. We were going down memory lane.
@jpthings Bear keep buying those lottery tickets, you never know you might win the big one . It would be great to meet you in person.
@10bbg10 Helen so sad about your young friend
@fran Sorry you missed out on the vase.
Julie. -
@carma CARL ... congratulations on Marley's win!
@10bbg10 HELEN ... I would have thought you'd be able to get an ID without much trouble on your butter with that distinctive finial, but I searched and searched and can't find a match for it.
@wattleihavenext JULIE ... what a grand time you all will have! Sounds super to be with all your friends for a fun and relaxing reunion.
@fran FRAN ... I was looking at Collector's Weekly and was surprised to see a pale green Candlewick piece. Didn't know that was a color they used. What are all the possible Candlewick colors? Candlewick Candy Jar Tower
@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... now how much fun was that! That would put a smile on your face for a long while. 😀
@suzy SUZY & @nona NANCY JEAN ... I think you might want to take another look at that pitcher. I believe it could be BRILLIANT aka STARS AND STRIPES by Jenkins Glass Co. #209, 1899.

Slow both here and on eBay Chat, but it's Friday, and maybe people are making their yard sales rounds.
