Thank you for the Birthday Wish...My brother called to wish me Happy Birthday and I said...yeah, the big 78...He said what? You are only 77. LOL. I thanked him for calling and making me younger. For a whole year, I thought I was 77 instead of 76. Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and want to wish you all a Happy and Safe New Year!

Carl, I am so sorry to hear about Sue...I didn't know she had been suffering from MS. Horrible disease. For years she was such an asset to so many of us, with her knowledge of glass.

Good morning` First off...Thank you for teh wonderful birthday wishes..I made it to another one! It took me a while to find my way back into this site. It has been a very long time so I have a lot of reading to do to catch up.

It has been ages since I've listed anything on ebay. It seems like China has taken over in so many of the Ebaay categories I've looked at... I have become a big time Amazon Prime shopper for almost everything. I very seldom go to stores and my UPS driver calls me his 1-a-day stop as he can count on stopping here almost every day.

We are still in Arkansas and living in the house we built in 2009. I have spent a lot of time in the last 2 years helping son with his FB page he built..."Backyard BBQ Heroes". He was off work for almost a year when a forklift at work hit him and sheared his rotator cuff. He started the page due to boredom and it has bloomed. Last night he had 3,999 members and we were all watching for that 4,000th member...lol. He has some Pro-Q'rs who have joined and have been so much help to the newbies and everyone else. They as have some great sponsors who give some nice prizes to the members involved in the contests. It is a great bunch of people who like to cook and share their masterpieces and some of their flops too. I love seeing some of the people in the North East BBQ'g in the snow..

To keep me occupied, I recently became an Avon Lady. In the past, I've only bought Mascara from my niece but she passed away last year so a couple of months ago I thought what the heck and became an Avon Lady..I was so surprised at all of the things I saw in the first catalog that came in my Kit..

Good morning. Thank you for the Birthday wishes. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Holiday..We are celerating this Christmas and Birthday in New Orleans. It has been a wonderful 5 days but we are leaving for home in about 2 hours. We have celebrated a lot and I'm afraid I have done some damage to the 40lbs I lost..lol. Oh well it will give me a resolution for the new year to get back on the diet regime. I read that we are supposed to get snow today or tomorrow at home. I hope it waits until we get back there. Not sure if we will do the 12 hr drive all today or split it up. Depends on the weather going home. We are still living in Northern Arkansas..in Cotter. Wishing you all a Safe and Happy New Year!

Gail Luv your new "do". My dil is going thru the new "do" thing too. Looks so cute and love the "wash 'n wear" thing too.

I upgraded my pc's to Win10. One from Win XP and the other from Win 7. So far no problems. All the peripheral stuff is working..ie printer, Dymo stamp printer, cameras router etc.

George I use Paint Shop Pro 8 for photo editing and it is pretty easy with good results..

Shelly..I doubt if we would ever move to Branson as it is only 70 miles from where we live. We live on the White River and enjoy the quiet here. Would hate to give that up. I'm sure Branson keeps the roads open when it snows and usually don't get a lot of it at any one time..probably like us...6-8" year. And yes, I like casinos. Love to play on the Crap table and BlackJack.

Lainey..I hear ya about the Cali heat..Remember it well. Today our high is supposed to be 74º. It's Oct. You weather has to change soon!

Hi Shelly & everyone..No sales here to speak of. Have taken most of the year off. My drop shipper's stock isn't being replenished so I've kinda lost interest. It was good while it lasted..:) I have so much "stuff" I need to clean out so I may have to start on that. I think I've been saying that for several years. Maybe this will be the year.

We have been going to Branson quite a bit as that is where our timeshare is. We enjoy it there and like the shows, restaurants & other activities available there.

I read yesterday that Betty/Sjell passed away. Don't know if that news has been posted here as I haven't been here much. So sorry to read of her passing as I really liked & enjoyed her. I will miss her.

Shelly I'm sorry to hear of your nephew. He was young and I know he will be missed. I hope everyone else is doing well..

Bob..it could be that your seller is a drop-shipper who gives him tracking when he places your order, and the company who is doing the shipping is not posting the tracking promptly. But, 10 days in country shipping is a little excessive.

Shelly..Thank you for letting us know Betty is home now. I was worried about her getting pneumonia as she hasn't been able to get up and walk. Said she is to weak. I will call her and let her know I'm/we are thinking about her. It will be a short call as I know it is difficult for her to talk.

We also got about 6+" of snow yesterday but today the sun is bright and it is melting.

shelly..I hope your dh can quit. I quit after smoking 2+ packs/day for over 46 yrs. I quit once b/4 using Nicorette gum. Quit for 3 yrs. then got mad about something and grabbed a smoke. That was all it took and I was back at 2 pks/day. I know one thing..nagging a smoker will not work. They will quit when they get ready. I finally go so upset with all of the taxes I was paying on cigarettes and that was all it took. I just quit cold turkey. I kept a pack of opened cigarettes next to my computer for 2 1/2 yrs and never took one out. I knew if I did I would have to quit all over and I wasn't paying one penny more in taxes than I had to, Dumb but it worked for me. My friends are still surprised I quit. They never thought I'd do it.Good luck to your husband.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it here but Betty Kirk/sjells has been in the hospital. She has emphysema and is now in a rehab/nursing home to get her meds/breathing improved and get her up and moving around. She has been in bed for several months unable to get around. She is very weak.

Gail..Sorry to hear you have to go through the chemo. My sweet dtr-in-law is also doing it weekly. Rest when you need to and don't try to push it..Prayers for you too.

Gail..Wishing you good news with the test results and want to let you know that prayers are being sent your way. My dil is fighting the BC battle so I've been saying a lot of prayers.. I wish they could find something to irradiate that horrid disease..soon.

Gail..We're doing fine. Had a quiet Christmas and spent most of the day watching Netflix movies and eating turkey.. It is cold here today too...only 7º this morning. I've been selling (or trying to) bedding under Red Oaks Company. Hoping that picks up and also selling (ozarkgrannie) glass, pottery, kitchen stuff and whatever else I can find around. Keeps me busy and out of the Bingo halls..lol Stay warm where you are..

Carma..I agree with you about the post office. The more they fix things, it seems the worse it gets. It may be that when the tracking says "Delivered to ?, Ohio it actually means it was delivered to the distribution center in ?, Ohio or the postal facility in the town it was shipped from. BWDIK. Just a thought.
