Good evening everyone. Back from the swapmeet. All good. Weather was great. I sold stuff and had a great time.

BTW if it's the Chris that I think you are talking about, she is on Facebook. She is doing extremely well.

@ver2us1 Janice, did you figure out you just put a zero in the shipping price space? Yes it would certainly be nice if they could explain that somewhere...I think they do, but not sure WHERE!

@panishklo MARSON ... speaking of fresh vegetables...I went to a fleamarket yesterday and they had home-grown tomatoes and I can't begin to tell you how wonderful they are! I have two left and will devour them tomorrow.

@baabaamason BOB in KY ... I also taught typing ... on manual typewriters at that. My 2 1/2 years as a high school typing teacher were quite unusual. 🙂

@ver2us1 Janice....Thanks for that info, it's good to know I'm not alone! It probably is HP after all. I click it off, too but it's been bugging me trying to figure out where it was coming from. Do you use a homepage?

@ver2us1 Janice, i sold the bowl long ago. But had always wondered about it. I had put 'basket' in the title so someone found it and bought it.

@ver2us1 Janice , I'll bet you know the name of this kind of Pfaltzgraff. i don't have any now but had some in the past and found it very attractive.

@4931nextdoor ALICIA ... I think I signed up for pininterest but I just couldn't get the gist of it. The same with Google+. And Twitter baffled me completely...never could figure out if you were suppose to Use a @ for something or what the hashtag business was about. I'm barely able to just hobble around in Facebook so I haven't ventured to get involved with anything else. Maybe if my kids lived closer by and could show me how things work.....

@ver2us1 JANICE ... I print all my postage on-line and of course have free Delivery Confirmation on Priority, but was bowled over at the Post Office yesterday when someone asked for it and was told it cost 85¢ now!

@reen REEN ... nice that you got a response back from the Cambridge group on your Rose Lady flower frog. Usually you can choose a centerpiece bowl and candleholders that match. Don't believe there is any one design that holds any of the figural flower frogs.

@ver2us1 JANICE ... thanks so much for correcting the mug and providing the auction #. Yikes! now I see that it was a rare one and believe me, I will have my eyes wide open next time I'm treasure hunting.

@suzy SUZY & @ver2us1 JANICE ... my understanding was that in days gone past a comport was the item that held a compote which is some type of sweet stewed fruit. As years evolved the comport and compote merged in popular usage. Now many people are more familiar with the term compote rather than comport. Always use both in a description!

@ver2us1 Wow that magnifying glass really helps!! I would have never noticed those up there, or what to do with them...lol. I see now that they DO call it a comport...I've seen both words used before....maybe with the extra ebay letters I can fit both words in. I sure appreciate your help Janice and now my friend won't have to go to the funny farm...lol...thanks again!! Suzy

@ver2us1 JANICE ... glad you posted that catalog page otherwise I would have thought all of them were made in 1997 like the one I linked from the QVC. Your page shows the original colors...guess they came along later and reissued with new colors like the clear frosted one I linked to also.
