@songbreeze Happy Birthday, Gail!! Wishing you a wonderful day!

Another lovely day in NJ -- with no chance of rain, just sunny. My next-door neighbor, & walking buddy, and I will visit our local nature center this afternoon so we can ooh and aah over the beautiful fall foliage.

    @songbreeze

  • Just discovered we have another birthday girl today (Thanks Facebook)

    @songbreeze

  • @songbreeze Happy Birthday, Gail!!!

    @panishklo Happy Birthday, Marson!!

  • @songbreeze Gail, glad the surgery went well, hope the healing goes fast too.

@george George, woke this morning to find that we and Seattle are still here. Just a hint of a drizzle when I did my Starbucks run. We're off to have brunch with friends. I'm planning to go see the Chihuly exhibit this afternoon and then visit the Market for a few more things.

@Carma Carma, that is such a sad photo -- I hope the weather patterns shift soon and you get the much needed rain. Also hoping that northern NJ gets some too.

  • Gail @songbreeze I wish you a very speedy recovery

Carl @carma sorry to hear about your school friend. On Friday we fare-welled another mate from the social bike club. Its getting that way, where it is looking like we may have more members in heaven
    Julie

  • Gail @songbreeze Oh NO!!! nothing worse then getting hit in the hip pocket 🙁
The sky dive was indescribable!! No words could tell it. I was smiling and looking forward to it then I pertified and then I was exhilarated. The video is hilarious. LOL

  • @songbreeze Thank you, Gail!!

And my wishes to Lainey and whoever else celebrates for a healthy, happy, sweet New Year!

  • Good Morning everyone, very windy here this morning. I hope it has dropped by tomorrow , as I am going skydiving.
I have had a lovely morning out for breakfast with a dear friend and my sister. Came home and have packed my van for this weekends markets. All before 11.30a.m

Gail @songbreeze glad to see you are keeping busy and having fun.

    Julie

  • Good morning everyone. It is suppose to be our Family Reunion today but the weather is not co -operating, drizzling rain on and off. So not sure as yet if we will postpone. Thank heavens for Facebook. I set up a Group and we can all just discuss everything on there.Makes life so much easier.
Reen @reen ((((hugs)))) to you. We get so attached to our furbabies, it breaks our hearts when they are suffering.
Nancyjean @nona Gail @songbreeze is on Facebook a lot and does a lot of work on the EAPG group.
I think most of the members here are members of a lot of the Facebook Glass Groups "Vintage Glass" "EAPG" "Carnival Glass" "GLGDB" I am a member of a lot of varied Facebook Groups. Some to do with collecting and others for personal interests like camping, running, bootcamp etc. I think thats where mnost "hang out" now and thats why we don't get much action here.
    Julie

  • Good afternoon everyone. Clear skies and sunny here, shame about the cold howling wind though.
Shelly @shellyrae37 Very little change with Mum, though she does look a fraction brighter. Still not eating enough to keep a sparrow alive. Yesterday she would have been lucky to have had 2 teaspoons of soup that I had made.
Gail @songbreeze glad to hear sales are going well for you. Seems like forever since I have listed anything online. I have also dropped back on the swapmeets and markets I do.Last market I did was the beginning of June

  • Gail @songbreeze I hope Rocky will be OK on his new medicine

  • @songbreeze
That cake gave me a toothache!!!!!
    Janice

  • Good Morning everyone. Its raining here. YAH!!! just in time for the weekend LOL I am doing a Charity 5klm Fun Run tomorrow, looks like I'll be getting wet.
Gail @songbreeze trust me, I do the same LOL But my clothes cupboards etc were bulging at the seams. I had no choice, something had to be done.
I saw your sons video on Facebook, you must be a very proud Mum 🙂
Katie @fyrqueen I dropped off a basket of clothing yesterday to one of our Charity shops. And I have more to take when I unpack my van.

  • Good Morning Everyone. Our perfect winter weather continues. Chilly mornngs but DDG warm sunny days. That is suppose to change for the weekend (typical LOL)
It was DD's birthday yesterday, so I spent it all day preparing a feast for her.I'll be living on leftovers for a few days LOL But it was all extremely yummy and very healthy food. I got the thumbs up from my Grand daughter with my home made Magical chocolate "icecream" Firsdttime I have made it.Not one bit of cream or dairy in it.I didn't tell her it was made on sweet potato.
Carl @carma I hope your DW gets many well deserved sleepins and gets to relax and "detox" from the schooling situations
Gail @songbreeze Enjoy your busy day
    Wendy @wjweese ***waving*** back atcha

  • Good afternoon everyone. weather is just perfect. It is hard to believe it is winter right about now. And the same goes for the past 4 days. The mornings have started out chilly but once that sun comes up and gets some warmth in it, it is DDG weather.
Carl @carma condolensces for your loss
    Jim @dorbitz ditto
Shelly @shellyrae37 we had perfect weather for the markets and a good crowd that were spending their $$ Though I didn't sell as much collectable bric a brac. Mostly my sales were for items from my wardrobe, hats , handbags and clothes.I moved a lot of it on . I'm very happy with that
Gail @songbreeze It does my heart good to know that you are getting around so much more
Don @donscns welcome home. Glad you had a lovely time

  • Good Morning, chilly here and it is starting to get a bit windy and overcast. I've Been to early morning bootcamp session and then onto the swimming pool to watch my grandchildren at their swimming lessons. I must say my grand daughter at the age of 5 has a beautiful swimming style. She really smashes it and stands out from the others in her class. Grandson is pretty good too, he is like a fish, always has been from the first time he hit the water, as a baby.
Marson @panishklo It only seems like yesterday you were shoveling snow
Gail @songbreeze The sports carnival was good. Miss P's first so she was a little bewildered at it all, not knowing exactly what to expect. I did post 2 pics on FB
    BTW lovely pics
Don @donscns glad you are enjoying yourself and the weather is good
Katie @fyrqueen Glad your tests are showing no signs of ehrlichiosis

  • Good Morning everyone, sun is shining and the wind has gone. We may just have a gorgeous warm day installed for us here. Which would be nice, as I want to wash the Yaris and also the van. Yaris I can do at CarLovers but the van I can't. It won't fit underneath the bays. And when doing the van I end up very wet. Not good if its cold and windy. I also need to get the van packed for the upcoming markets this weekend. Sister called in and wanted me to have a day out, morning tea and shopping and possibly lunch. But I can't put of these things another day. My Friday and Saturday calender is full LOL
Lawn needs mowing too but that can wait another day
Gail @songbreeze Enjoy your day I'm glad you have fun memories of Australia. I don't play Housie or Bingo but I do know that a lot down here take it very seriously and play regularly.

Shelly glad you worked out the maker. They are very pretty

    Julie
p.s radio report just said today was going to be windy 😥

  • Gail @songbreeze It is so good to see you posting again and seeing that you are feeling much better with more energy.

  • Good afternoon everyone, Rain has gone, sun is shining but it's cold and windy. A lot of our east coast has copped a battering from the storms. Lots of damage. Bootcamp was cancelled this morning due to lack of interest from most of the girls, so I had a little sleep in. I also had a lovely breakfast out with my sister at my favourite cafes.
Gail @songbreeze I use to have a fitbit. I had to buy a new phone as my old one was not compatible. Once that issue was solved it was very easy to get up and running.

Bob @baabaamason maybe this will help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSI0DPagnEQ
    or this one
    http://www.instructables.com/id/Clean-Your-Sticky-Laptop-Keyboard/

  • Good morning to everyone It is drizzling rain here. Not what I wanted. I have a painter doing the outside of my house and I want it finished. Also I have a swapmeet this weekend. Its poured rain at this swap for the past 5 years. Last year I said I wasn''t going back but caved in and rebooked my site, thinking surely this year we would get sunshine for it LOL.
Gail @songbreeze Love your new avatar

  • Gail @songbreeze that is such good news ((((hugs))))
Bob @baabaamason ((((hugs))))) to you too. I know that would have been a very difficult time for you

  • @songbreeze Gail, so glad to hear that things are looking good for you!! Now I hope the weather cooperates too. {{hugs}}

  • @songbreeze Thank you, Gail! Almost have everything ready for the first Seder.

@carma Carma, very nice!! Enjoy it.

  • Good Morning everyone. Another gorgeous sunny Autumn morning down here. Perfect morning for a 5klm Park Run.I've been fighting a bit of a head cold/sore throat for a few days. Nothing serious and nothing that will keep me down. It's just annoying.I decided though that I would only do the Park Run this morning and give Boot camp a miss.
Carl @carma more beautiful glass!! Thanks for sharing.
Katie @fyrqueen I am glad there has been an improvement with Maggy
Gail @songbreeze yes it is wonderful to be able to spend so much time with the Grand-kids. They really do light up my life. Mels does a couple of Boot Camp sessions with me each week, and she brings the kids with her. So I get to see them then too. They run around in the park and play on the play equipment while we train.

  • I have had a lovely day out with my sister, in this gorgeous warm sunny Autumn weather.Lunch and shopping. I bought myself a new printer/ scanner/fax. One of our big Electronic stores is closing down, so everything must go. There were bargains galore but all I needed was a new printer because mine stopped working last week. Cost me $30 for a new one, all chords and leads included as well as 2 ink cartridges.

whoops Don @donscns sorry I didn't mean to use the "B" word LOL
OMG Gail @songbreeze that is very very scary.

  • Good Morning everyone. The mornings are very dark here. It was still dark yesterday morning when I got home from bootcamp . I can't wait for daylight savings to end and we get back to normal.
Shelly @shellyrae37 My weekend was good at the Easter Monday Market Weather was perfect . Sales were down a lot compared to previous years but it was still OK and worth my while.
Gail @songbreeze I didn't take DGD to a swapmeet, we just had a weekend away in my van camping by a river. She went very well, she loved it and is looking forward to another trip with Grandma.
    Julie

  • Good afternoon everyone
Gail @songbreeze I am so sorry you have not been well and having to go through all those test. ((((((HUGS))))))) I hope you will be on top of it all very soon and feeling much better ((((((HUGS))))) You are really missed here on the GB

  • @songbreeze Gail, the playmat is wonderful!! Your grandson will have so much fun with it. And thank you for all you do on the EAPG Facebook page!!!!

  • Good evening everyone. Still hot down here.
Gail @songbreeze I love the play mat. You are so very clever and I am sure your grandson will have many hours of fun playing with it.
    Julie

  • Good evening everyone. Been busy with life and totally forgot to post the coffee yesterday. Thanks Jim@dorbitz for covering for me

Gail @songbreeze Yes it is very very sad and a very tough time for dear Alicia @4931nextdoor. My heart goes out to her. She is such a beautiful lady and so is her family. Makes you wonder why good things happen to good people. Alicia, Jerry, their daughter and Grand daughter showed Mels and me around Disneyland when we were over there visiting. We had such a great time.

    Julie

  • Gail @songbreeze when I bought a new computer, my old printer's chord was not compatible. I went shopping for a new chord and believe it or not, the chord was going to cost me just as much as a new printer, with compatible chord and 2 ink cartridges.

    Julie

  • @songbreeze Gail, so glad your family got out of DC before the snow (bet they're glad they're not there too). That play mat is adorable!!! I bought my great-niece a mat made of foam rubber with the individual tiles that link together but this is so much more fun and beautiful and made with love!

We're surviving the snow -- about 2 feet. DS started shoveling last night. He and DH are out there now doing some more. I'll go out later and clear off my car.

  • Good Morning to everyone. We had one hell of a thunder storm come through yesterday. My suburb didn't get much of the electrics just some good heavy down pours. But I could hear the continual non stop rolling thunder that seemed to never end, one after the other on and on and on.I am sure there are going to be some spectacular photos posted on FB. I have Just turned the computer and radio on so not sure if any damage was done to the areas that got hit hard.
Gail @songbreeze. Don't be too hard on yourself. Your body has been to hell and back and it will take a lot of time to get over that. Sit back relax and let your body heal.
Reen @reen sorry to see you have been in pain. Hope you feel better soon

    Stay safe stay warm everyone
    Julie

  • Good Morning everyone. Sun is shining, skies are clear. Flood waters subsiding and the clean up will begin for those that were flooded. I just have a very boggy yard that is over due for a mow and its too boggy to do.Might just trim up the edges with the whipper snipper today

Jim @dorbitz LOL I often wonder too and for any of the gifs about. Any occasion or situation you can Google and viola there is an appropriate gif for it. I don't think we have doubled up on the same coffee gif yet...have we?? well maybe once or twice but considering a gif is posted every day and has been for , how long? I think we are doing well. LOL So lets hope they continue making their gifs so we can continue posting new ones each day 😀

Gail @songbreeze That is a DDG comport and your photography is superb.
It will take some time before you have all your energy back. But I know you will be sensible and you will listen to your body and rest when it tells you to.But also push it just that little bit every other day to gain more strength ((((Hugs)))))

  • @songbreeze Gail, thank you for the beautiful menorah!!

  • Good Morning everyone. Predicted high temps about to happen in the next few days. Friday is suppose to reach over 40 Celsius. Not looking forward to that. Bush Fire session has already started in some area. Just heard on radio that 4 ppl have died from bush fires. But not sure exactly where. I missed that part.
Gail @songbreeze and Shelly @shellyrae37 thanks for sharing those pics of Dear sweet Lucy.

  • @george George, I'm happy with Picasa for organizing and editing my photos and then Picasa Web Albums for sharing my photos. Sad that we're not getting out to Seattle this year -- DH had too many things going on every weekend (not to mention we did have our big trip to Israel).

@songbreeze Gail, so glad you're doing well. Was down in Virginia with DD this past weekend -- thought of the fun we had glass-hunting.

  • Good evening everyone. Just arrive home (7p.m) after leaving here at 5.45 a.m. It's been a big day for me. 2 hard bootcamp sessions (morning and afternoon) and babysitting a 3 year in between, so I should sleep well tonight. I know the 3 year old will too. I wore him out LOL
Carl @carma glad you had a good day with your mates.
Gail @songbreeze Great to see you are getting back to things.Try not to over do things though BTW I love your new hair.
    Julie

  • @songbreeze Gail, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Wishing you a wonderful day!!!

  • Good afternoon everyone. I had a lovely few days away and what fantastic news to come home to Gail @songbreeze I couldn't be happier

  • @songbreeze Gail, that is such wonderful news!!!!! Thought of you today as I was visiting the various thrifts by my DD in Virginia. I saw various pieces of EAPG and wished you were with me to help decide if they were worth buying.

@donscns Wishing you and Laura a very Happy Anniversary!! (DH and I have 5 years on you -- we celebrated our 45th June 7).

  • Good Morning everyone. Looks like we are in for another perfect day. Maybe a few showers later this evening. I can handle that 😀 I will finish off packing my van today for this weekends swapmeet. I'll be heading off tomorrow morning (Friday) and won;t be back till Sunday arvo. So I won't be able to post the coffee during that time. But I am sure Jim or Don will look after you all 🙂

Gail @songbreeze I am so pleased that little Minion is giving so many ppl some laughs. Laughter is a good healer. You take care and rest up,Don't go over doing things.
    Julie

  • Good morning everyone. Just back from my morning bootcamp session. Always feel good afterwards. The mornings are still chilly but days are lovely.
Gail @songbreeze I am glad you love this mornings coffee gif 😀
It won't be long and you will have your lovely hair back again. One lady I met when Dh was having his chemo said she use to have think straight hair before chemo and it grew back thick and curly.
    Julie

  • Good evening to you all. gorgeous weather for us down here. Its been a busy day for me. Babysat the grandkids all day. They both had Gymberroo and then this arvo I had bootcamp. So I think we will all sleep well LOL.
Katie @fyrqueen Good luck with your tests
Gail @songbreeze. I hope you feel better soon. Rest up
    Julie

  • Good Morning everyone. We had some really good rain over night and now the sun is shining.
Nancyjean @nona I am glad you enjoy the morning tea and coffees
Shelly @shellyrae37 yep won;t be long and it wil be summer here. NOT looking forward to that. Too hot for me.
Gail @songbreeze I am glad you are taking a rest and also pleased you have been enjoying some of lifes little pleasures.
    Julie

  • Don @donscns and Jim @dorbitz When I grow up I am going to be a Gypsy LOL Hang on!!!! I always said I wasn't going to grow up 😆 😆 😆
Gail @songbreeze I looked for your lovely item but did not find a match anywhere.
George @george as a young girl we would spend winter holidays with my grandfather on his property and he never had electricity or any mod cons. I loved it!! All us kids loved it. What I would really love now is to have all those DDG lamps we used back then, And his furniture etc. I loved the big wood stove that had that huge castiron kettle with tap on it ( antique hot water system LOL) The Fire was always going, food was always cooking. Water was a bit restrictive as he only had tank water. I look back and now know what hard work it was for Mum when we went on holidays there, with 5 kids , often one or two of us also bringing a friend, plus our dogs, All washing boiled up in the copper over a fire, out in the paddock and washed by hand. When we'd get there she would scrub all floors in the house on hands and knees and then polish them. Her little trick to buff them was to have us kids on hessian bags and drags us all around. She made it like a game. When she tried out she'd leave us to it, dragging each other around on the bags. That was the only time we were ever allowed to play inside there LOL... MEMORIES I could go on forever 🙂
Shelly @shellyrae37 I have always been reasonably independent. I was on my own for a number of years raising my dd. But I have always had friends and family around me.

  • Good Morning everyone. Went to a carboot sale this morning and managed to buy a few saleable items. No Glass though 🙁 Afterwards I went to watch the grandkids at their swimming lessons. They are coming along so well. Miss P at the age of 4 can backstroke already and D aged almost 3 is doing a pretty good version of freestyle
Carl @carma congratualtions on your rare find WTG
Gail @songbreeze I am checking into Vallerysthal/ Portieux for you

  • Good Morning everyone.
Gail @songbreeze Its so good to see you I am happy you have been able to get about a bit. Getting out and about does lift your spirits a bit, doesn;t it?
Shelly @shellyrae37 Yes it was a lovley morning with my nieces. I love them to bits. Such gorgeous girls, inside and out.
I have my meal menus for the week and a shopping list for what is needed. So I only buy what is on the list and by-pass all the junk food isles. If I don't see it I am not tempted. LOL

  • Good Morning everyone OH MY!!!! what a perfect morning it is. It is starting to feel like spring.
Looks like I was a slacko last night night. I forgot to post the Morning Coffee. I came home from Bootcamp, cooked dinner, had a bath and decided to have an early night as I wanted to get up 4a.m this morning to go for my swim. I totally forgot about the coffee. Thanks Jim @dorbitz for looking after it .
Shelly @shellyrae37 you are allowed to brag. It's a proud Mum's right to do so 😀
As for the antique hay press. I think it was just left there. No one wanted it. I could have bought it for $1 as I was the only one interested. The barn it was in was probably as old as the press and was falling down around it.No actually road to get there. It was situated right on the river from the early days and the farm now had been moved further up away from the river. This was a huge piece of gear and weighed a tonne. I have been googling trying to find one the same but all I find are the buggy type ones pulled by the horse. Maybe what I wanted was not actually a hay press???? To describe it, I suppose I could say it was like a huge gigantic book press. And how you turned the cast iron handle to lower the timber down was done by a horse walking round and round in cirlces.

Gail @songbreeze thinking of you always I hope things are going OK for you (((((hugs)))))
    Julie

  • Gail @songbreeze I am pleased that you are starting to feel better.((((hugs))))) Take Care and rest up as much as you can.
    Julie

  • Hey Katie! @katie_delano
Glad you beat back the spirochetes! Mine is borellia with bartonella as the co-infection. Antibiotics failed me miserably -- tried two courses in different years and only made it 3 wks then got really sick. So I stick with herbal remedies which work really well if I don't get stressed. Rick uses herbs along with his med so his med dose is much lower than it might have been. Feel free to view the house on ISoldmyHouse.com, listing #210887. We never know, you may bump into someone looking to live on the Cape in an oversized Cape!
    And dear Gail @Songbreeze
Do feel better! I'm sending my good buddy, the archangel Raphael, to shine healing green light your way. Drink lots of tea and watch reruns of Downton Abbey all day long!!!
Hope I did those "@"s right. Not good at this. Just call me technostupid.
    Janice @CapeCodLady

  • As you know when you have been away from the GB for a long time its hard to fully catch up with what has been happening with everyone. I usually only scroll back a couple of days. I have seen mention that Gail @songbreeze has been under the weather with fevers. This is for her and anyone else that may not be feeling 100%

  • @songbreeze Gail, congrats on the blue ribbon -- your crocheted blanket is lovely and absolutely deserved it. Enjoy the visit from family!!!

@1citydude Tincey, Happy Birthday!! I hope it's been a great day.

  • @songbreeze Gail, have a safe and wonderful trip!! Laughing at the "distribute the pets" -- I'm sure they'll miss you. Should be a nice change of pace to be at the glass show. Looking forward to photos and stories.

  • Gail @songbreeze I am so glad for you that you will be able to travel. 😀 In the mean time rest up and take things easy
    Julie

  • Good Morning everyone. another chilly winters morning here 2°C
Have my truck in at the mechanic's for a service and checkover to make sure alls OK before my road trip.
Gail @songbreeze I hope you are OK
Reen @reen glad the new house is making progress
    Carl @carma gorgeous grandkids 🙂

  • Good afternoon everyone. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I have been having a fun time with the celebrations. Firstly my party on Saturday night. On Monday morning after my swim there was a party at the cafe we all go to for our coffee afterwards at 6a.m One of the ladies baked me a lovely birthday cake, supplied some finger food, party hats and balloons. What a great way to start the day of your birthday. Had DD and grandkids around for morning tea and lunch and spent some time with them. Monday night after bootcamp another small celebration with the women I train with and another birthday cake LOL That's 3 birthday cakes all up LOL Home from bootcamp and had dinner with next door neighbours.

Reen @reen I am so sorry no one turned up for your open house. You must have been very disappointed ((((hugs))))
Gail @songbreeze I hope you are doing well.
Jim @dorbitz LOL we are a day ahead, so it was yesterday here , today there LOL or probably by now its yesterday there LOL
LOL Marson @panishklo I was a "little delicate" on Sunday after my party. It was after 3a.m before I went to bed, after the last guest left LOL
Irene @jmart8248 I had a variety of snack food for my guests. Different cheese platters, pates, different types of olives, crackers, potato chips, pretzels, several different dips etc.

  • Shelly @shellyrae37 In July I will be hitting the road for a few weeks and that's when I will find a few swapmeets as I travel around. This weekend was just a weekend away with a group of friends to kick back, party and have fun catching up with each other. A few beers, a band to dance to. A good restaurant with lovely meals and good company with lots of laughs.
Irene@jmart8248 I whole heartedly agree with Gail @songbreeze Just refund the money and be done with it. If you don't, it's only going to be a long drawn out battle and really in the scheme of things, is it worth the headache? I am sure you would much prefer to move on asap
Fenton @ohiostar I wished I could have seen your lovely items. But sadly tinypics does not like me and 9 times out of 10 the pics will not load for me. It seems they only want me to see all the adverts surrounding the pic.

  • Good Morning everyone. And soooo my kitchen continues. Still no end to it all, in sight LOL
I did get my cupboards painted yesterday and put in the kitchen. I was not at all happy with it once I had them where I thought would look great. So I have had to sleep on it and try to decide my next plan of attack. I don't want to go filling them with all my "stuff" and decide I want to move them. Like sands through an hour glass ..sooooo is Julie's kitchen LOL
Don @donscns Yes that kitchen is very colourful. It is in a caravan. Its become very popular here for the younger ones to buy vintage caravan and redo them all retro. Mine won't be that bright LOL
Gail @songbreeze Yes it is a very hard balancing act the Drs have to perform. Each individual is different and each and every cancer is different and they don't know how either will respond to the treatment and the doses till they try.You can have 2 pp,l same age etc with same cancer, same stage. But they do not respond the same so treatment has to be adjusted. I take my hats of to them. They do a wonderful job, as do all the medical team that work in those wards.
I hope you are well enough for the Convention. sending you big (((((((HUGS)))))))) and lots of positive vibes.

  • Reen @reen I have lambs wool lining in my boots and wool socks but standing on that damp frosty ground , it still chills you right through. If Monday is anything like today it is going to be DDG once the sun comes out and the frost melts
Gail @songbreeze I wished I lived closer so I could help. Sending you (((((hugs))))) and postive thoughts for you to get through this

  • Good evening folks. too tired to scroll properly. Have had a big Wednesday. Started off with Bootcamp at 6a.m and then after that I babysat Grandson till 6p.m. He didn't have his sister to wrestle with or chase around all day, so Grandma it was LOL.
Gail @songbreeze i had a look at some of your caps and they are gorgeous.
    Julie

  • Good evening everyone. Have had a full on day from 7a.m to 6p.m with the grandkids But loved every minute of it 🙂
Marson @panishklo I hope your cold gets better soon. Take care
Gail @songbreeze Glad to hear you have been taking things easy and sitting cozy in the recliner.

    Happy Birthday Jack/Toadboy @fracnjan
    Julie

  • Good afternoon everyone. Been raining on and off all day
Gail @songbreeze Good to see you But Keep resting up and take things easy.
yep it was a big job diggin those trenches for the pipes. Been a lot of years since I have swung a pick axe. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to move this morning but woke up feeling good and went to bootcamp. Its probably the fact that I do bootcamp that I wasn't aching all over this morning. Tomorrow it may hit me LOL. I had to laugh yesteday. I said to Son in Law "whats wrong with this picture" He looked at me a little bewildered. I said "shouldn't it be the father in law helping the son in law digging trenches and not the mother in law " LOL He said Melanie's father would never offer LOL
    Julie

  • Gail @songbreeze Glad you had a good day.
Yes my tree was a big job. I just have to remove the stump now. But I'll worry about that another day. I am exhausted and even too tired to go to mates place for Friday arvo beers. Sister wanted me to go to club with her too. 😆 I must be getting old when I say no to a night out 😆

  • Good Morning everyone. A lovely day ahead for us again today.Cool morning but sun is shining. My perfect kind of weather. I hope it continues .
I will be busy the next few days preparing items for an Antique Fair this coming weekend. First time I have done this one. And this is only the 2nd year it has been on. I was told last year was very successful, so fingers crossed this year will be good too. Though it does have a few things riding against it this time. One major one is The floods, storms and all the damage that's been done. Will ppl be out buying Antiques???? Mothers day is also this Sunday. Though that could be a good thing. Maybe they will take their Mum's to choose something special for their collection. Whatever the outcome, I'll enjoy myself. 🙂
Katie @fyrqueen You go Girl!!!! Its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog 😀
Gail @songbreeze (((hugs)))) I hope you feel better soon.
Such sad news about Ray. My heart goes out to Paul. I know too well that pain of loosing your soul mate, best friend, love of your life.

  • Good afternoon. It was fabulous to have a beautiful sunny day with clear blue skies for a change.Everything needs drying out. And tomorrow is suppose to be the same.
I had the Insurance Assessor here today to check out the damage I sustained Looks like a whole new ceiling in the kitchen is needed . They'll organise all that for me. I will have to organise the fence repairs myself though. They will pay me for it but it is up to me to work with my neighbours for their share of the costs. There will be no problems there

Gail @songbreeze Rest up and do nothing for a few days,
    Julie

  • Good afternoon everyone Home from the swap. It poured rain the entire trip on the way up but as soon as I got to the gates of the swap it stopped and we had a dry swap the entire weekend. Crowd numbers were way down but that, I am sure, was due to the weather all around and the bad storms and flooding some areas were copping. One swapmeeter packed up early and made a mad dash home because his wife phoned and they were flooding. His shed, that contained his best collections, was knee deep in water. On my way home, I just got a few kilomtres down the road and the raion began again and continued all the way home.

Gail @songbreeze How wonderful for me to come home and read your good news. It has made my day. I have a huge smile from ear to ear. I couldn't be happier!! WTG!!!!!

  • @songbreeze Gail, so happy to hear your wonderful news!! And glad your daughter is there with you to help celebrate!!

@wjweese Wendy, that afghan is beautiful!! I can see why it took a lot of planning and working. Lucky recipients!!

  • Gail @songbreeze rest up and take things very easy. I hope all goes well for you tomorrow.
    Julie

  • Good Morning, sun is shining and the air is crisp. It's what I call perfect 🙂 lets hope it remains like this all weekend. I'll be having breakfast while doing a bit of computer catchup with friends and then heading off for a few days to play Dora the Explora in my kayak 😀 Hopefully I'll remain dry 😆

  • Carl @carma when they did a big upgrade with our TV signals last year and went totally digital I now can't get certain channels at all. Before I used to pick up certain channels in my TV Room and not get others. On my TV in the bedroom I would pick up the channels I couldn't get in the TV room but couldn''t get the channels that the TV in my TV room could get . Yes its all satellite and digital now And it has to do with weather and positioning of satellite dishes, aerials etc..
Gail @songbreeze 😆 😆 Yes we did have so much fun 😆 😆 Thanks for posting those pics. Its always so nice going back down memory lane. I still get a fit of the giggles when I think about Dave going for that walk with Melanie and me LOL The DeGroot blocks raoflmao
    Hi Lainey @favoritegram

  • Good Morning everyone, cold and windy here today. Mother Nature can change her moods so suddenly.

Gail @songbreeze I hope you can manage to do all the things you want todays.
BTW Love that pic of all of us. That was hilarious. We posted the pic of us back on and asked the glassies to guess who was who. And then presented this pic naming us all. I think that was MP's idea. wasn't it? To run a guessing comp on the GB. Everyone got Dave right LOL And it was hilarious her grabbing a stranger asked to take the pic of us all. That wasn't so bad but it was hilarious wqhen she says, now I want you to take a photo of the back of us LOL
Shelly @shellyrae37 Susu said Lars/Bill is still alive but that is all she knows. She made contact with one of his nieces through Facebook.

  • Home from the markets. Late yesterday as a group of us were sitting around having a nice glass of wine and dinner, a huge storm came through.Lots of thunder and lightening, strong winds and torrential rain. I got soaked to the skin, just trying to get into my van. I heard one stall holder lost thousands of dollars in stock. Woke this morning, to heavy mist but eventually that lifted and the sun came out and it turned into a beautiful day. But just after lunch the black clouds started to accumulate, so I decided to pack up early and get out of there. As I was driving out the gates it started to sprinkle, so I made the right decision. It was a very busy market, big crowd but there were more lookers then buyers. I am happy with my sales. It was worthwhile doing but not as good as it usually is

Gail @songbreeze keep resting and sleep as much as you want. This is normal. Talk to anyone that's gone through Chemo or radiation and they will tell you the same. (((hugs)))
    Julie

  • Good Morning everyone, still very dark and gloomy here with lots of rain.
Reen @reen Thanks I hope the weather clears like they say it is going to. Good luck to you too, if you decide to have a GS

Gail @songbreeze I do hope everything is OK with Shelly @shellyrae37 She was going to Pittsburgh for her DH's check up. That was over 2 weeks ago. I just checked her FB page and she made a post on 2nd April. I left her a message 🙂
    Julie

  • Gail @songbreeze don't push yourself at this stage, rest as much as your body is telling you.

  • Good afternoon everyone. Sky has cleared and it is a lovely Autumn's day.
Don @donscns WOW!! just gorgeous! How much do you charge for admission and guided tour and is morning tea included 😀
Gail @songbreeze So sorry you are not feeling so good.

  • Good Morning Everyone, over cast and damp here, with a nice crisp breeze. But the sun is suppose to shine later and of course that means yucky hot humid day.

It amazes me how many ppl out there delude themselves into thinking their items are worth thousands of dollars. What must go through their minds ???

Gail @songbreeze WHOOPS I could have sworn I posted the coffee. But obviously I didn't.

  • Good Morning everyone Cooler temps today and by the look of the sky we will get some rain.
Yesterday was so hot but later in the afternoon a cool change came through. I was at a friends house. We were sitting under their huge Camphor Laurel tree enjoying a nice cold beer. The wind was very hot at first but then it became still, skies became very hazey and then the westerly wind turned into a nice cool southerly....heavenly 🙂
Been shopping with my sister today at the local Harvest Markets. Nice fresh organic and mostly locally grown(or at least Australian grown) fruit , veg and meat. And I just discovered a local milk that is to die for. I first tried it at a new local coffee shop You can really taste the difference. Saw a stall today that was selling it. had to get me a bottle (yep a bottle, a real glass bottle. Not cardboard or plastic 🙂 )
Gail @songbreeze I am so glad you enjoyed your day. Its the little things that make it so. SO many ppl get behind the oncology units and do a lot to make your time there as enjoyable as possible. It was the same here And as strange as it sounds DH and I enjoyed going because everyone around you were all positive and so happy go lucky. A great atmosphere to be in
Sharon @sfinds nothing beats fresh caught fish.As a child that's the only fish I ever ate. Straight from the lake or ocean cooked and onto the plate. At one stage in my life I would not eat or buy any fish. It just didn't have the same taste and I couldn't enjoy it. Taste buds have now adjusted LOL
Irene @jmart8248 Glad you enjoyed your birthday
Wendy @wjweese and Reen @reen good to see you are on the mend. Take things easy though
Julie...off to check out Facebook now 😀

  • Gail @songbreeze I know you will be looking forward to the break in treatment. I am sending continued positive thoughts and a huge cyber (((((((((HUG )))))))))
    Julie

  • Good Morning everyone. Yestday the humidity was atrocious. I was so sure wwe were in for a good storm but it didn't happen
I missed my early morning swim this morning. A blue ringed octypus was found, so they shut the pool. It was due to be emptied and cleaned yesterday as per usual. But finding the octypus they were not going to refill till today. I don't know why. They found it they took it away, what's the problem? I was looking foward to my walk afterwards too. The new path that has been built to take in the spectacular ocean views all the way has been opened.
Shelly @shellyrae37 if you can find someone to paint a room for $25 send them my way LOL A friend got a quoate last year for one of her rooms and the quotes she received were in the thousands dollar price range.
Gail @songbreeze you still look gorgeous!
Sharon @sfinds the Dr gave me some excerises to do. I use to suffer vertigo a lot. Since doing them years ago I haven't had a bout of it since
    The Brandt-Daroff Exercises
You'll need to scroll down half way to "Home Treatment". It's the first excerise listed there

  • Good Morning to you all. still very humid here. Even though the temps are dropping the humidity makes it feel worse.

Alicia @4931nextdoor All painting leads me into, is a big mess. I am the worlds worst with paint. I seem to get it everywhere except where it is to go LOL If I attempted to paint the front door, I would have paint all over the verandah, I'd have it walked down the hallway, I'd have it all over me and God knows where else through out the house. There'd be paint handprints everywhere LOL. Gordon banned me from painting many many years ago LOL

Wendy @wjweese I hope you are feeling better after your surgery.

Gail @songbreeze I hope everything is going as well as they can be for you. (((((hugs)))))
