@wattleihavenext JULIE ... oh, I just love days like that and it's always such fun to get home and unwrap everything and look at it all again.

@donscns DON ... patterns like that, that have changed to so many different hands, just drive me crazy. I just steer clear of them because I'm way too lazy to try to dig deeper to see if I can distinguish who made what and when. Makes me dizzy.

@george George ... yes, our Postal Service will pick up too, but I always feel more confident when I take it to the PO. I only live a few blocks, could walk it if I weren't so lazy. But this morning, I just wasn't up to having to comb my hair and change out of my tacky sweat pants, so I was glad to just hand it to the postman as he pulled up to my mailbox. 🙂

@nicknack2 NORA ... glad to see you check in on your birthday. Hope you will find time to check in again.

@jmart8248 IRENE M ... looks like you and your DD had as much fun and as much luck shopping as JULIE and her sister. 🙂

Marson @panishklo My sentiments exactly about daylight savings. Another thing, in summer we get plenty of daylight after 5p.m. Its still light at 8p.m. I can't see why ppl enjoy it still being daylight at 9.pm. I want to sleep by then LOL
I hated it from the word go, when it started down here My DD was just a baby and I had just got her into a sleeping routine to suit our routine. Well the introduction to DLST through that out the window.
Carl @carma I have always loved that Indian saying about DLST.LOL And I think whoever came up with DLSDT moved onto work for eBay LOL
BTW glad to see the storm missed you. I hope you eventually see Spring By the sounds of it though you'll be waiting till summer for that to happen

Gail @songbreeze I feel for the children in the country that have to get up so early to start with, to get to school. Its still dark for them and I don't think, such a good idea to have them standing out on a country road waiting for the bus in the dark. And surely such an early start would interfere with their concentration and ability to learn properly.They are already at a disadvantage with the time they need to travel to get to school, why burden them with extra.

Nora @nicknack2 - It has tentatively been identified as a Cambridge crystal tray, reticulated "S" edge, with a Cambridge #4051 etch. Apparently only 2 have surfaced in crystal prior to this one - none with the etch.

Shelly @shellyrae37 My Grandfather had the same coloured hair. DD's father has red hair and Red hair is also on the SIL side. His Mum has redhair. So it was going to be very hard for Miss P to not have red hair. The pics do not do the colour of her hair justice. It is such an amazingly gorgeous colour. It is so beautiful she stops ppl when we are out.They can't help themselves admiring her and always coment on how gorgeous her hair is.
Yes I know I am bragging 🙄 but I am a very proud Grandma 😉
@george we have lots of rules and regulations down here 🙂 Belts hats etc and big fines if caught not adhering to them

Julie @wattleihavenext - I was hoping but after digging out my Bagley Whitby 3002 large trinket box, I see that there is a difference. Still pretty pieces with the sawtooth step sides. Very heavy too !

Evening All,

I hate tax time, I really need to get a new attitude in doing taxes, but for so long I have waited to the last day I hate to break the trend. Maybe if I were to get money back it would be different(LOL).

@songbreeze Gail - Thanks for letting me know about Fran, glad she is no longer sick and is able to enjoy life with hubby. Sorry your Argonaut Shell aka Nautilus was not the original, but I learned a lot about what to look for in it. You gotta love when the piece sells more then what people are telling you what it is worth.

@wattleihavenext Julie - Also thanks for lmk, guess with the boys out of the nest it is time for the second phase of their lives. It sure is fun with out the kids. Miss P sounds so darling, I bet you eat her right up, and has she learned to play grandma against Mom 🙂

Well, I've off to Braums to get hamburgers for my sister and me. Have to go over to her house to watch the Celebrity Apprentice and the News. Hope I can get my antenna working again soon. We'll have an enjoyable evening though...make a party of it.

Thanks for all the sympathy on my cold -- I took today as a "sick day". Slept in, got dressed late, read the papers, took a nap, and now I'm feeling much better (and not sneezing nearly as much).

I have the exact same plan and I too will probably miss it when the time comes. But looking around at what I still have and what I have sold in the past 3 years, I have quite a number of tears to go before my home is empty of all collections. LOL that makes me sound like a packrat but I do have it all tastefully diplayed and in reasonable order. I am told my home is like walking through a museum
