H ya;ll see i mssed a few birthdays and a 1.2 birthday.....the 1/2 birthday idea i like. I too am considering getting a generaotor cause i too have 9 cats and 3 dogs...Several years ago during a hurricane we lost powerfor 2 weeks, luckily didn't have allthe furbabies at that time, but i still tuffed it out at home, using a tinyy sony generator to power the fridge, freezer and the computers. i talked to the generax peeople last week andthey are coming over next week to give me a price on what i need. Been busy helping Try with his new project selling boxes for your TV that has livetv thru the internet so you can cut the expensive partof tv from your cable bill....you only need internet....over 5000 tv channels world wide....being a news junkie i love watching french tv and german and isralie tv, can't understand a word they say but the pics tell the story. Looking forward to SOTU address tonight. Love seeing the democrats cringe when Trump speaks....LOL...Should be interesting. Check in again soon...luv ya

I have been busy on facebook as a lot of you know, haven't done anything at ebay in years, in fact my son has sorta been selling on my page. i think i reached burnout and just had to get away from it all. I have been hanging out in fb book and a new site caused tsu.co/kasikirby. that is my link in case some of you want to join and look around. tsu is crazy in the fact that simirliar to facebook but they pay you money to post...LOL....you know me follow the money....taint much only pennies, but pennies mount up. i have gone into couponing big time, when i figured out how much money i was throwing away at the grocrey store by not couponing, i qui that, and am now an extreme couponer...LOL..I see gayle, and FRan and WAlter on facebook, and Julie, but i miss a lot of my old friends and had lost the chatroom link......i have now bookmarked it, so i don't lose ya'll again. i do plan on going back to ebay.....i have bought so much stuff for ebay in the last two years but just never got around to putting it up, so it's time for me to make time for ebay again. And Gayle if i remember right you are my vaseline glass fiend, i found this drop dead gorgeous perfume bottle that you are going to love...LOL...First thing i have to do is find my camera, all i have been using for facebook is my iphone5plus....and i hate the ebay mobile app...LOL..y'all be good, thanks again for the birthday wishes and i'll be back soon, promise

Told you I"d show back up again...giggle...off today to do errands, Got 40 Jimmy Dean $2 coupons for breakfast bowls so plan to go use them at walmart, which makes me get a penny back per bowl....nah they don't actually give me the 40 cents back but it applies to what ever else I buy that time....so that is almost a free can of dog food...LOL. Then rodeo tickets go on sale this morning so I am going to be on computer trying to buy tickets fro my friends. Y"all have a great day, ya hear

This evening as I was reading all the birthday wishes on facebook, it reminded me that I knew my friends here hadn't forgotten my birthday( and i was right) and i felt embarassed that I haven't been back here to say hi in ages. But I knew as my friends you would forgive me. I was MIA the last two holidays and it wasn't that I didn't think about getting on here and saying hi, it just seems that the time flew by so fast, I never made it here. I turned 73 today and it made me realize even more that I have to take time to stop and smell the roses and to really try to keep up with my old friends. I got involved with a bunch of extreme couponers and have taken lesson from them, and found out that with my capricorn origizational skills it was so easy to save money , earn money and take care of the family for almost nothing. My grocery bill has dropped to less than 50 a month and I"m working to get it lower
I've also been involved with the FDA fighting them because the lab where I had the stem cells grown got shut down because they administered my OWN stem cells that they had grown with an injection to my knee by claiming that MY stem cells was an unregulated drug...I won't bore you with the details of my fight but I will tell you that those litttle stem cells that got put in my knee ( only got 1/2 of the prescribed treatment) before I got shut down, have lowered my pain level of 10 down to a zero in that knee and I can now walk around the grocery story and shop with out crying because of the pain. IT is so nice to have my mobility back again. I actually went to a rodeo meeting this year for the first time in 4 years cause I could park and walk the reliat center to the meeting without crying before I got there. Even without the 2nd injection they say that the cartlidge in my knee will continue to regrow( but slower) and I may be able to get back in high heels by next summer.....YEAH...I really miss that.
I know I keep saying I"m going back to doing ebay again, and I really am going to do it later this month, and I"ll be on here reguarlly asking for help with id's....WEll that about catches you up with what has been going on,

Had to stop by to read to make sure everyone was ok after Sandy. No word from Nancy Yet? bummer. Currently in a fight with the FDA trying to get approval for the last injection of stem cells to my knee. The first injection is still working and for the first time in 4 years i"m walking without pain or a limp. Stem cells are marvy though very pricey. Gonna try to start listing this week hoping to catch some of the christmas season, have gotten in to couponing really big...love going to the grocery store and coming home with stuff for pennies. Discovered you really need a large pantry to do this properly. The way most of the girls do it, is they have a stock up price, (free or under 20 cents a can) and then they buy enough for a year....Currently i have enough shampoo, cosmetics, razors, washing machine soap,vinegar,canned libbys vegatables, bayer asprin and a few other things to last a year....most of it free...IT takes a lot of research, and organization in saving coupons until something you want goes on sale. They deliver all over the country and their products not only are excellent for their prices are super. drats we are expecting more rain today....not that I don't like rain, I definately do, but do we need it every day for2 weeks....my yard is about 2 feet high cause I can't let the yard guys mow it as they would bog down in the mud under the grass....the yard is so soaked it is standing in some places and doesn't evaporate before we get more...LOL...Lickey loves it, and comes in the house soaking wet and muddy.
I'm going to dig out my Teddy Ruxpin today and try to get it on ebay, I figure with the movie TED out, maybe it will sell....LOL...I'll be back later, great to see y'all all again

well Houston didn't float away, almost but not quite...I was up high and dry except for the wind blowing rain into my garage and getting a lot of stuff wet with a mess to clean up. But that is life....drats
I'm doing well, finally had the fat extraction for cell tex to turn the fat into stem cells for my knee. IT takes them 10-12 weeks to grow the stem cells and then they inject it in my bum knee for the stem cells to do their magic over a 3 month period. They say by Christmas I should be walking great again without pain and able to run a marathon....LOL...I have never run a marathon before and at my age don't plan to start now, but to be abel to walk across Sams without my knee hurting would be a Godsend...
I'm still on facebook, playing games and basically being lazy but I have to go back to work soon so do plan on starting back on ebay, I just can't seem to get excited about selling again....Maybe I reached burnout or something....but I really must do it, I'm so tired of all this beautiful stuff just sitting in boxes, I cant enjoy it, so I might as well get rid of it and just hope to break even on what I paid for it, as I have noticed prices at ebay are in the tank...oh well. Besides I really need the money to pay for the stem cells....saw Ron on ABC news had the same procedure done in Germany, guess I"m lucky to be able to have it done in Houston and not have to go to germany...LOL..
Well that sorta brings y'all up today, Licorice and Meow are doing great as are TreyK's dogs flip flop and knucklehead. Trey is doing super too and loves his job as wine steward at HEB...I love it too as he brings home great wines for me to try...I really promise to try to stay in touch , I miss y'all

Hope all the mothers had a great day, my DS ( treyk) gave me a edozen beautiful roses, a great bottle of wine Easton 'vineyards 2006 Cab Sav and a new front door with out a round door know...has the european handle on it which makes it much easier to open when you are brining in tons of stuuf and your hands are full...LOL
It is a historic door and was at one time the front door of Bocassio's ( a popular niteclub off Westheimer.
Boy my trying to get back to selling on ebay has been thwarted by many unforseen events....having to clean up after the water heater flooded the garage, a freezer going out and trying to save all the food ( luckily I caught it in time) the squirrel mess....and geez so many other little tiny crisis it seems I have been in crisis management for at least 3 months now....sure does make life interesting...Hopefully I"ll get taxes done in the next two fdays and can try to start back ebaying next week....keep your fingers crossed for me....I really want to go back to selling....got to somehow get it to the top of my priority list....giggle

Slowly but surely making it back to normal, seems my ladk of 3/4's of my thyroid has been throwing me off kelter and maybe , just maybe they now have my thyroid pills on the right dosage so that I can function like a normal human being again...Never realized how much that little gland can control what you do every day, or lack of doing every day...LOL..and it sure can cause a weight gain without you realizing it, so now I have to go on a diet to get back in to my old clothes....so no more potato chips for this girl....gigglee
Tioday is the day I start doing pics and try to remember or relearn how to use photoshop. New version on the new computer so it will be a learning curve I'm sure.

Gail , delighted to see your post this morning, briefly heard without seeing the map that there were tons of twisters in Okla and was worried about you. I have been having phone problems for the last few days. AT&T said they were going to unlock the iphones if you had completed your contract with them, so i applied ( took almost hours on the phone to get that set up) and they were supposed to send me the code to unlock by wed. well they sent an email and instructions which i followed to the letter and it bricked my phone. Seems the idiot taking down the request transposted the numbers in my number so my phone got bricked...have spent over 36 hours over the next 5 days trying to get undonw what they have done to my phone....so have been without my cell phone since last wednesday....not a fun time, plan to get back on the phone to them at 8 am this morningg trying to finally solve this problem....so it has not been a fun week....sigh..so all my plans to start ebay got put on hold for another week....phone comes first, ebay second....well maybe next week. Will be on the phone again with at&T most of the day but will check back in later.

running to pick up a new door I bought for the front of the house, got it at an online auction that is local for 10 bucks....solid mahogany and will be beautiful on the front of the house...Trey is off today so he can go with me to get it.
Almost finished with the pantry , just need to get out my brothers printer and print labels for the various boxes that are on the shelf stuffed with stuff and label the shelves so whom ever puts the groceries up will know where they go...being creatures of habit we tend to always buy the same thing all the time...well after this long we know what we like to eat and the ingredients that it takes to make our fav's....so we try to keep it all in stock. now that it will be all organized it will be easy to see when I start to run out of something....LOL..I have always shopped sales and don't just buy one can of tomato sauce but a dozen, etc.....gotta have that for my spagetti...LOL.
The rest of the week is doing taxes and clearing up paperwork and then to start taking pics again for ebay. I'm really dreading finding out what changes have been made since I last posted last dec. I'm sure there are a lot of new things to get used to, and of course I lost my powerseller status while I was gone, so have to regain that before I get to make money again as that 20% discount of FVF's did mount up...giggle.
But Julie, you will finally get to see that pelican float bowl and help me with the manufacturer...I think its probably walters but haven't had time to look it up...
Also have a steuben corset vase to put up along with a ton of signed books. and tons of cookbooks, I have still over 1500 of cuz john's cookbooks that need to go. I finally went thru all of them an pulled some of my favs to keep.

Morning all, Hope every one had a Hoppy Easter. I spent the day trying to finish redoing the pantry after the squirrel murdered my pantry a couple of weeks ago. I don't know who was more scared me or the squirrel when I opened the pantry door and he tore out, evidently he had been locked in for a couple of days with no water and no food, but he sure helped himself to my food and chewed thru the salad dressing plastic bottle to get liquid...and boy did it stink in the pantry....So needless to say I had to clean everything out, throw out tons of food, plastic containers that food is stored in, and even some cans he had eaten thru.....then disinfect everything and repainted everything. So I have a brand new pantry and almost have it back in order...this time all the spices are alphabatized so they can be found and I grouped them into clear shoebox plastic bins so that they can all be easily found. I kept wondering why the dogs were trying to get into the pantry, never dawned upon me that a squirrel was captrued inside...LOL
Boy I was reading all the new changes to ebay in preparation for my big spring push into getting rid of stuff. No borders son pics anymore, did I read that right or dream it?
i hope everyone is in good health, I am diligently saving pennies to pay for stem cells for my knee rather than opting for knee replacement surgery...I figure if it worked on Gov Perry it might work on me and anything would be better than surgery...Only thing is it taint cheap, magee....
Been missing y'all , but my being away is another story in itself, which will save for another day.

It's rainy and damp in Houston today, hoping to reclaim my life on ebay and a few other things that need changing in my life( too many games on facebook and getting rid of a friend that turned out to be a conman and not a friend afterall). That's a long story for another day. I'm rebuilding my photo space, redoing my ebay room ( the garage thaty had been carpeted) It got flooded and had to remove the carpet so it got me energized to start doing ebay again, seeing all that pretty glass out there that has been sitting there for years, that someone really wants and I want the space back..LOL. So you guys are going to see more of me. I am going tomake aschedule of xx hours facebook, xx hours ebay, and xx hours house work, and xx hours my time to read and do what Iwant.....LOL. the need for organization bug has bit...BBL.

sorry I have been gone since my birthday, and thanks for all the wishes.....they were great makes me remember the old chat board days....myson got me a new keyboard for my birthday, the old one cratered....the new one has smaller keys so it is taking some getting used to...but I"m sure i will get it all figured out soon, just like I"ll get all the info finally transferred to this computer from the old one. I will be scare for a couple of days got to get 1099's out...plus its rodeo time againm, so have been buying tickets bvooking suites and all that other stuff...so in other words I"m up to my eyeballs in alligators...but I promised myself i would try to get by here at least twice a week if not more often....but till rodeo calms down next week(preparation for the rodeo that is) i'm just not having much time. I am going to bookmark this site on my ipad , as I carry itwith me constantly and can at least keep up with the conversation.

I have missed y'all but I got addicted to Gardens of Time ( a game) at facebook and I really need a 12 step program to get out of it....Plus the estate sales I was doing.....and am still doing....I have 2 more storage lockers of Cousin Johns to get rid of and this stuff is just really time consuming. I would have been better off to sell all this stuff 3 years ago, but I just couldn't face it. NOw I have to wash everything that comes out of storage as it is so covered with dirt and OLD cigarette smoke from 20 years ago.....I bet I've used 3 gallons of 409.....and untold soap and water to get everything clean enough to sell. Hopefully the weekend after thanksgiving will be the last estate sale, and I can reclaim my life again...
Julie, I found in my cuz's stuff the pelican flower frog and matching bowl and meant to take a pic and post it for you to tell me if it is walther or not, but haven't done in photo shooting in so long, except pics of lickey....who is growing by leaps and bounds ....He is just adorable, and loves chasing meow and they have a lot of fun together and he keeps attacking the big dogs cause he thinks he can...
I did the other day stop by the non existant chat room at ebay so I'm glad I was able to get this one started for us....although I haven't been here, I know y'all must love it here....and don thanks for plodding me to check in.....I do still check my email although not as much as normally....but I"m always on facebook....
I really have to get back to ebay and break the facebook habit....LOL. Today is the day for me to return to posting on ebay....I have accomplished most of my other goals these past three months, so now it is time to sell the stuff on ebay that just won't sell at an estate sale....and boy do I have a couple of weird kitchen items to photograph and throw up for y'all to try to help me ID....I have no clue what they are....
DS ( TReyK) is doing well and was just finally made WINE STEWARD ( manager of the wine and beer dept) at a brand new HEB in Houston, and is loving his job....His old car cratered(2202 jeep liberty) so he is looking at a new jeep grand chreokee , maybe next week, so that is taking all kinds of time, trying to find the warrenty on the old engine to get it fixed to be traded in....as the old engine is under warrenty...and that may not sound like much of a problem, but the place where he got the engine, has changed ownership and the records went with the old owner, who we can't find.....so all kinds of nit picky little problems to still handle before I can resume a normal ebay life....but life is good, fast, furious and fun. I promise I'll stay in touch more.
