@newplace Marymelodee ... I actually use to open 2 tabs for the Chatroom if I want to do several mentions in a post. The second tab, I can look up the mention, highlight it, copy past back in the first tab. Now I just keep a list of all the Display names with the Log-IN ID next to it. Don't know if it will copy here without being all askew. I try to copy the first few names and see what happens.

@newplace Marymelodie ... After doing your mention and posting, go up to the tabs in the right hand corner and click on HOME. If you are looking at your own mentions, just remember to switch back to "All Members tab to the left of your own mentions.

@10bbg10 HELEN ... I know that plate as it caused a lot of talk in the Glass Chat 2 or 3 years back. I have to go search through my notes and see if I can locate it. It's a newer piece, I'm thinking 60s or 70s by Colony or someone like that. Will search when I get back from running errands.

Also a couple of people have mention on the ChatAbout forum that AVG is giving them a warning in the gallery. Several others using AVG say they are having no problems or warnings and suggested people "clear their caches." I don't know what that means or how to do that. Was that what I did last night with the F5 button? What is the cache? Is that like clearning cookies?

@donscns DON ... I'm not aware of that being policy but I know I heard something similar at one time...totally fuzzy as to when it was or any particulars. But it was not totally unfamiliar to me, so I wonder if it was something eBay had kicked around at one time or another. I should think that would stop everyone from selling, for sure. If that fellow really believes that is policy, I can't imagine him still selling.

@shellyrae37 ... Congratulations on being a GGGM! Did you try Don's suggestion on using your F5 button way up top on your keyboard. I didn't read his instructions carefully and I only pressed the F5 button, but that cleared up things and I could then see the new banner. His instructions were actually hold the Control button and press F5. Have you tried that?

@wattleihavenext JULIE ... can't believe you actually allowed yourself to take a nap! LOL. For me, they are a staple in my life. 🙂 Why do your swaps not run during the summer? That's when most of our run and close in the winter when the weather is bad.

He was just diagnosed with incurable cancer.By the time he went to the DR complaining of a bad back It had already travelled through his lungs & is now in his bones.

@newplace MM DD has a few vintage items.When here and I have been sorting she has admired something and I would give it to here. She even has a lovely EAPG master bowl, she often uses on special occassions.I have instructions from SIL to be on the look out for some ruby glass red wine glasses. He loves my Ruby Glass wines.

I love to use my items whenever I can, think its because I just love showing off what I have LOL. I have set some lovely tables here over the years for DD for special occasion dinners.
@jpthings Bear Yes I am seriously thinking about starting another collection for Miss P and that would be Pink Glass LOL The other day when I was Opshopping with sister I saw a gorgeous little pink single creamer & sugar made by Johnson UK (Dawnrose) and thought the demitasse cups & saucers added when I can find them would make a charming little girls teaset and when she is old enough she can have little tea parties/ High teas here with Grandma.Then hopefully when she is older still we will have fun hunting for the 'adult" pieces

I'm always embarassed by my booths because there is just no rhyme or reason to how they are laid out. With this "mention" feature... We all have TWO ID's here.... our log-in ID ... and our display name. For some of us that is the same. For others they are different. The mention or @ name only works with our log-in name. So for you I have to use 10bbg10 rather than Helen; for me, it is songbreeze, rather than oklahomasong_Gail. However for those whose log-in and display are the same, it's easier... maryb is Maryb, fran2 is Fran2, reen is Reen...
