Katie @fyrqueen I got many a spanking or as we used to call it "flogging" LOL
George @george YOU TOO!!!!!???? We used to get towed sometimes too. Oh my!! we used to do some silly things LOL
Jayne @thrifysenior67 Yep I sure do miss Lucy 🙁
Bear @jpthings 🙂 I am just back from a quick visit to see Miss P I had to get my fix, I haven't seen her since Thursday
Shelly @shellyrae37 No Miss P has no freckles, maybe a bit young to get those yet. Her Mum & dad keep her very well protected from the sun, so maybe she will never get them.

@glassusa BOB ... thanks for the info. I saw one down at a local junk store. The rod that holds it together wasn't in very good shape. The color had me puzzled, so between the color and the rod, I just passed it by, but I was really curious about it.
@sellingthings MARTY ... thanks, I always like to see the things people talking about finding and buying.
@fyrqueen KATIE ... gorgeous iris!
@thrifysenior67 JAYNE ... well, LTNS! Good to see you poppin' in.
HI to JULIE and BEAR.

Good morning Carl, Katie, Jayne, George, Shelly and all lurkers...
@thrifysenior67 JAYNE ... so good to see you pop in. Hope all is well with you and that you had a good Christmas and New Year. Carl is way way way up there in Maine!
@shellyrae37 SHELLY ... I'm almost sleeping too well in my new bed...can hardly drag myself out of it in the morning, I love it so! I'm sleeping so late because I start to wake up and then say "no, this feels too good" and go right back to sleep.

@thrifysenior67 JAYNE & @newtonenterprises JIM D … I agree with Jim that a private list might be a lot better.
I belong to another forum that does have posts that blare ”Block this Buyer” or ”Beware of Seller”. Personally, on more than one occasion, I believe the buyer’s complaint was legitimate or the seller was in the right and it was the poster him- herself that erred. There’s usually several sides to a story.
As best we can, I like keeping things and this forum on a positive road. Granted we have problems and ills, snags, and hurdles, but we are here to encourage each other. My thought would be if a Seller or Buyer is glaringly fraudulent, one might recount the circumstances here, let the members individually be the judge of the circumstances, and if they choose, they could email and request the name. I think that would be better than posting names.
All of the above is just my humble opinion…definitely not written in stone. Be interesting on how others think on the subject. I know on the other forum most of the members are quite grateful to be given a ”heads up” and the names/IDs.

Good morning, glassies.
@carma CARL ... good to see you checking in. Glad all is well and you are just busy and having fun with all the holiday preparations.
@thrifysenior67 JAYNE ... Rule #3 is under the GUIDELINES tab which is in the upper right-hand side of your screen. http://glass.chatroomboard.com/guidelines Also you might enjoy reading all the features available on this site in the tab next to the Guidelines labeled "HOW TO" MANUAL.

Jayne @thrifysenior67 re are we allowed to post a lousy Seller’s LIST I can’t see why not, so long as we follow the rules of this board
Rule #1
This board is meant for:
Sharing thoughts and information that would be of interest to the other members
This could fall into that catagory so long as we follow Rule #3
DON’T… be nasty, inconsiderate, annoying, or disrespectful, and NEVER bully. Innuendos will also not be tolerated

Good morning, glassies.
@reen REEN & @10bbg10 HELEN ... glad you enjoyed the coffee. 🙂 I quite enjoy the Garfield coffees...have 3, I believe, or maybe 4 different ones.
@jerseystar NANCY P ... due to furkids draped across my feet again last night, I wound up sleeping on the diagonal across my bed. Was very pleased that the bed is now big enough that I can actually change positions and comfortably so. 😀
@thrifysenior67 JAYNE ... Glad to see it's still working for you. Can always email me if you lose the address.
-
@thrifysenior67 JAYNE ... so glad you managed to find your way back here. We're going to need to leave bread crumbs for you as you keep losing us! 😀
@dave DAVE ... well, lo and behold, there you are too. This is turning into old home week. Glad to see you.

@thrifysenior67 Jayne welcome aboard george

@thrifysenior67 ... I keep forgetting to answer you about my grandbaby. My California son's daughter was born at the end of January. I drove out to visit in March/April. My East Coast DIL is expecting but it won't be til after the first of the year sometime.
@nona ... I've checked Westmoreland...but often I miss things. I'll try again. I thought Fenton but the stem is wrong and the hobs stop with a wide blank band around the rim. Back to the books.... 🙂
-
@thrifysenior67 JAYNE … well at some point were you trying to post to your avatar that pic. It’s the same one you have on Facebook accept when I saw it was a much bigger pic and showed the complete pic of the child. Maybe you were working on it when I clicked on your name to find your log-in ID.
Maybe the heat is getting to me. Maybe I saw it on FaceBook. But the FB avatar is too small to see anything, and this pic was big enough that I could see his little feet in his pajamas and I could actually see you. Maybe I dreamt it. 😯

@thrifysenior67 ......I was noticing that earlier when Gail posted her reply to you. I think she got you mixed up with cxgirl(Mary) who had just succeeded in posting an avatar with her Border Collie on Wednesday, Aug 3, 2011, 3:11am EDT;. Then you had the next post and I think she confused who was who. Or, perhaps she does have x-ray vision!!

@thrifysenior67 JAYNE ... Success! Terrific picture. What a little sweetheart you have there!

If for reasle a differnt story but if for yourself and it is going to give you a lot of pleasure and its something you reallt want , then to heck about the price. LOL
@thrifysenior67 ..glad I coud help 🙂
@suzy reminds me of Vallerysthal/ Portieux. But that's what I always immediately think when I see that blue coloured glass. I'll see if I can find anything to confirm.

Good Morning everyone.
Kelli @enchantmentglass Stevens & Williams was the first thing that came to my mind for your lovely vase
Bob @glassusa nice buys
@thrifysenior67 In the top right hand corner of your screen you should see a yellow star next to a spanner. Click n the yellow star and that is how you save sites to your favourites

@thrifysenior67 , Jayne ... that pretty rosebowl you are looking at is simply what they are using for their avatar. That's a completely different process and not the same as posting a picture (which we cannot do) in our messages. We can only post a link in a messages.
-
@thrifysenior67 , Jayne ... you can post a link just like on eBay ... except if for any reason your link has IMG in front or at the end of the URL, you need to delete the IMG. Follow these directions....
~The easy way to post a link to picture here~
1-Click here--> http://tinypic.com/
2-Click Browse and find your picture on your computer. Double click your picture twice and that will enter the info into the box at tinypicIMPORTANT: .Before you hit that green Upload button, see the box that says Resize/ Default. Click on the tiny arrow, and pick Message Board 640 x 480. That option gives a nice sized picture that uploads quickly.
3-Click Upload Image
4-Click on the 4th line and it will turn blue. Right click with your mouse and Copy
5-Come back to the here to the message box and Paste it -
@thrifysenior67 , Jayne ... You did great. I keep telling new folks to be sure to read the "How To" Manual ... the tab for it is in the upper right of the screen. There are a lot of different little twists that you will want to know about and enjoy using.
-
@thrifysenior67 , Jayne .... Terrific! I see you got the kinks worked out and were able to register. Super!
@neacenacks , Possum ... That's a really big picture you have of the base of your vase, but unfortunately, it is rather out of focus so it makes it hard to see the points that Julie was asking about...way it is finished, how the glaze is done etc. Perhaps you try another picture of it more in focus.
