We continue to have hot dry weather. I think the steady sapping of the quite constant wind that we have been having is almost as damaging as the lack of ground moisture.

There is a very interesting program happening here in my area @ Barrington Tops. The Tassie Devil, unique to the state of Tasmania only is becoming extinct because of a facial disease. They have shipped some up here and breeding them in a controlled area, hoping to prevent to continuation of this disease that is killing them off. So far it is successful

@ginnyrose all pic host links will work here and on the Ebay GB. It is just a matter of not using any HTML coding what so ever and just posting the URL of the pic. I can and do post links using my Free FTP Pic Host with my server. I use Photobucket, I use Piccassa too and on some occasions I will use tinypic. A very easy way to find the URL is once you upload to your host you put your cursor over the pic and right click, from there a drop down menu will show and you click on "copy image URL" then all you need do then is come to the board and paste.That way you don't even have to try to remember which line from all the choices those free sites give you. That is also a great way when using Photobucket, that way you end up posting a link to the pic only & you don't end up on that page with all the adverts along with it.

The tray is shown on page 147 of Newbound’s Milk Glass book. It says it was shown in Butler Brothers 1905 catalog in a dresser set with bottles and jars. No particular name for it, but Blue Milk Glass with the date should help if trying to sell it.

@shellyrae37 SHELLY … I’ve only the one sister. I drove her to the Heart Hospital in Tulsa yesterday where they did an angiogram. After she had that time with the chest pains and I went over and stayed with her several days, she finally saw her regular doctor when he returned from vacation. She since had blood work, EKG, and appointment with a cardiologist and then scheduled for this angiogram. As it turns out everything is just fine and doing great.

@ginnyrose CAROL … what a beautiful color of your candleholders. I’ve never seen that color before. I love stretch glass.

@fyrqueen KATIE … what an absolutely adorable furkid!

@neacenacks MABLE … so sorry, but haven’t a clue on your candlesticks. Very pretty though.

@shanigirl RUTH … I think it’s highly likely it is tarnish black. Try a wee spot with silver polish….do NOT press hard as silver overlay is often quite thin and can be rubbed off. But with just a gently rubbing any silver overlay I’ve ever had responds beautifully to being cleaned up.

Don yes it is hard moving & clearing out Gordon's things. A life time of memories he kept and now what to do with it all. Of course I will keep some but there are other items I will have to decide what to do with them. Old receipts, photos I have no idea of who or where, cards, magazines, travelling brochures etc.
