Good afternoon. I have arrived back home from my volunteering to help the farmers . What an amazing experience! It was hard work(carrying bundles of star pickets up and down hills,some hills were at 45 degrees and hard going, lifting heavy rolls of barbed wire out of the trailers, laying the barbed wire and twitching it to the pickets etc etc) but so very satisfying. We achieved a lot in the 5 days I was there. I am very proud of the new skills I have learnt and I do plan on going back to help some more

God Morning. What a relief!! As predicted the cool change came through last night and it feels sooooo good. It was very pleasant this morning training down near the river with a nice cool breeze blowing. Its very gloomy and overcast and I am loving it!!

Good morning from snowy NJ. The flurries/snow showers left about an inch of snow on my car this morning that had to be cleared off before I went to Yoga class. Streets were mostly bare, though a little skiddy. I expect it all to have melted away by later today.

@whodat111 Susan, good to see you come out of lurking mode, I hope all is well.

Good evening everyone. we had a very warm day down here and tomorrow is suppose to be a repeat. 32celsius.
I went back to boot camp today. First session since I broke my wrist. Of course no pushup or lifting weights but it was fun to be back My trainer just gave me more situps, squats and lunges while the others were doing pushups and weights.

I received a message today from a friend. They are putting their mother in a nursing home and selling off he her things They are giving me first dibs, so I am going to check it all out tomorrow.

I am loving the new board. As you all know I really struggled with tinypics , most times I gave up waiting for the pics to load, so I often missed out on seeing the treasures Thank you again Curt @webmaster

Good morning everyone. Just a fly by visit. I am heading up to visit Mum today and I have been busy the previous days with the grandkids. I am enjoying the rain but not so much when it stops and the sun comes out. The humidity and heat is a killer

@amber1986 AMBER ... I'm going to try to make a vet appointment for her this week. I think she might be old enough for some flea meds. Not much point in giving her a bath, because I can't bring her into the house until I'm certain all her fleas are gone. SHe'd just go back outside and get fleas again.

@whodat111 SUSAN ... is that Sevin for use on the lawn?...but you mean to actually apply it to the kitten instead?...or are you just talking about applying it to the lawn so that she wouldn't pick up more fleas? I will certainly look for it when I go to WalMart in the next day or two.

I have checked out the highest bidder's FB and its all good.I also did a Google search because of the contact info I received from Ebay ,the buyers postal address,which was is Works address. He is a prominent Lawyer with a big firm in Sydney.So with that knowledge I am feeling reasonably confident all will go well even though I have had no contact from him yet.With all the excitement I nearly forgot about my other auction that ended today LOL I am pleased with its ending too but OH MY .very very very pale compared to the Lithgow LOL So all in all a good day for me 🙂

Golly, how did I miss seeing @whodat111 SUSAN and @george GEORGE this morning. I was on the run once my feet finally hit the floor late this morning. Among other things, sister and I spent 3 hours cleaning and rearranging a friend’s apartment this afternoon. I’ll go back sometime tomorrow to finish up.

@whodat111 SUSAN ... We reached 57° yesterday and are suppose to reach 60° today. But you are right...the weather is suppose to be all rain on Monday and possibly snow on Tuesday which is furniture delivery day. 🙂 Luckily, I live in a very small town and only about a mile from the furniture store so all should go well IF I can find someone who will take the bed and divan before Tuesday!!!!!! Eek!
