Exhausting day. CARL and NANCY P ... I sure hope you all do ok with all the nasty weather coming in. Please keep us updated.
@sewerrats DAWN ... That piece is shown on page 101 of HMW's "Colored Glassware of the Depression Era 2". It is illustrated in a Federal catalog as #2825 CLOVER from 1936-1939.

@sewerrats DAWN ... I think the jar is just known as Anchor Hocking Paneled and Ribbed cookie jar, made sometime in the 30s.

Good Morning everyone. The respite for the heat wave continues and it is only suppose to reach 26ยฐC today. But tomorrow the mercury will be climbing again.
Helen @10bbg10 Congratulations on your new great GS
Katie @fyrqueen Good luck to Jonathan
Bob @baabaamason I too am always in awe when patterns like that get IDโed so quickly. My eyes just glaze over, they all look the same to me

Well, think maybe I'm starting to catch up with stuff. Got another thing on Ruby Lane, a couple of things for their one-day sale, got some items posted on eBay. Tired now and looking forward to sitting in my recliner with my dog in my lap and watching Market Warriors. ๐
@sewerrats DAWN ... I have a picture I printed with an ID of your 8-footed bowl....but no other information. Don't know when I printed it and don't know who offered the ID...so it may be totally wrong. It looks like the bottom to a butter dish, but the ID that is captioned under the photo I printed says "Believe it or not it's a type of lens for industrial lighting. Someone showed me the exact lens on a heavy duty light in a Grangers industrial supplies catalog." Again, I really can't say whether or not that is accurate... can only say that I have it in my notes like that.
I'm going to go give all my animals cuddles. Really missed them, for sure. ๐

Good morning, glassies. My whole sleep pattern has changed and I get up so late anymore!

@sewerrats - I've seen that tray before, it's from a ladies dresser set. I don't recall any other details.
-
Ah, I see CHAR @charper99 to the rescue...so @sewerrats name is actually DAWN ! Sounds alot better than Rats! ๐
Hi, LAINEY! KATIE , have fun in KC. With the days getting longer and the weather getting better, maybe we can find a half-way point to meet and go treasure hunting together sometime.

Good day to all glassies. One of those nights last night, toss turn toss turn...last time I looked at the clock it was after 3:30 am. Looking for the morning coffee, I see it's been a busy time in the chat room. So now with coffee in hand, ah, and with @justmim MIM's cookies ๐ I am ready to scroll.
@donscns DON ... sure hope you get a chance to enjoy some of your Spring Break, but it does sound as though you've got quite a bit on your plate already and none of it is dessert yet.
Yep, I surely agree with @abzoid TOBY and @newtonenterprises JIM D .... avoid sherbets at all cost and any stemware with a needle etch. Also I avoid most stemware with a cutting rather than an etch.
@sewerrats ... never, ever, is it a bother to bring an item to the chat room for ID. That is our whole "reason for being." It's great fun and a great learning experience for all of us. But with that said, I have no idea who made your stemware. Also that is a "cutting" not an "etching" on your stems. That type of stem is usually referred to as a "lady's leg" and is found by many manufacturers so it's a hard one to pin down.
@fyrqueen KATIE ... I think you really are doing the right thinking opening a different account to link to PayPal. Photos are free on eBay but I believe it's a 10ยข fee to schedule a listing. If you have Auctiva, it is free to schedule. You will save yourself a ton of money if you use eBay to print your shipping labels and eBay's app called ShipSaver for insurance. They have a video tutorial to help you learn how http://ocs.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?CustomerSupport If you take the package to the post office and it's Priority you have to pay 85ยข for Delivery Confirmation. That's free when printed on-line..or if it's 1st Class or Parcel Post it's only 19ยข when printed on-line. The postage itself is cheaper when printed on-line rather than taking it to the PO.
Still scrolling but think I'll post this before I lose it..... ๐

I am back to bed after a much needed 3 hour stint at computer chores and listings.

It's a Lundburg Art Glass piece from several years ago, it is what gave me the idea for a table with just Aqua Glass.

@sewerrats ... It's hard to see but right under my post where I said WELCOME to you, you will see where it said you registered. That's how I knew you were here. ๐ Your items were made by Imperial Glass Company, their pattern number was #212 from their NuCut line, popularly known as DIAMOND WITH FAN, date 1912.
