• Good Morning Glassies...

Sorry I've been gone so long, but man my sales on Etsy, and in my showcases have been wonderful since October, and I can barely keep up with that let alone anything else...

I was hoping someone might be able to help me with this Green Depression Footed Tumbler... It measures 5 and 1/8 inches tall, 2 and 5/8 inches in diameter at the top, and the base diameter is 2 and 1/2 inches...

Any help or direction would be appreciated...

    Thank you in advance,
    Jesse

  • Katie - That is a very pretty vase... I would say that it isn't that old, but I could be wrong... definitely an art glass piece... that is about all I can tell you.. Maybe someone else will drop in and be able to help with more info...

  • George - That makes sense as well... Thanks for all of your help...

Diane (Fenton) - So nice to see you... That was my original guess... at this point I guess it really doesn't matter who made it for LG... I'll list both possibilities in the listing on Etsy... I actually have two of these and they weigh 1 pound 2 ounces each...

  • Fran2 - Thank you for the link... I looked and looked on that site and never saw it...

George - Thanks for the info on Fenton on the bowl as well... it does not have any type of mark on the base...

  • Good Evening Glass Chat... It has been a long while since I was last here... So many things going on that I have very little time to do anything but my real job, and work my Etsy shop.

I've had these two items for some time and I've came up empty as to the identification of them... I have several more items to photo and will be posting them in the next couple of days...

Any help with these would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance,
    Jesse

    1. Amberina Glass Large Shell shapped Daisy and Button Bowl. Measures 4 and 1/8 inches tall, 3 inches from front to back and the base diameter is 3 and 3/4 inches... Does anyone know if this was made by LE Smith or LG Wright? and if so when?

    2. EAPG Cruet. Measures 6 inches tall, and the base diameter is 2 and 1/2 inches. Has a button and star pattern. Does anyone know any other information about this cruet?

  • @songbreeze - Gail - Thank you so much for looking in your book for me... you answered my question exactly... some on Ebay was calling it Peach Crest, and some were calling it Silvercrest, while others were calling it something entirely different... Now I know how to list on Etsy...

@ohiostar - Fenton - Hey there stranger... Thanks for the link... when I'm researching glass I never think to look on Etsy... I always go to Ebay first... I hope your shop is doing well on Etsy... mine has it's good weeks, and terrible weeks... but my overall revenue for the year is up from last year and less sales... I guess it is because of the higher end pieces I've been listing...

  • Good Morning Glass Board...

I had to buy a new laptop over the summmer and when I transferred all my data from the old laptop to the new one I lost all my favorites including the link to here... LOL... I finally contacted Gail (oklahomasong) through her email and she sent me the link...

I bought this Fenton pre logo melon vase a few months back, and I've been trying to get some information on it through Ebay but everything I've seen has had conflicting information... So, I wanted to see if anyone with a Fenton Book could please look at the two photos below and tell me date of production, pattern info...

Measures 5 and 1/2 inches tall, 5 and 7/8 in diameter at the widest point of the ruffled edge, and the base is 3 and 1/4 inches.

Any information would be greatly appreciated...

    Thank you in advance,
    Jesse

  • Good Morning Glass Board...

Gail - Thank you for taking a look, and confirming that the Hickman piece is a celery vase... 🙂

MM - Nice to See you, it has been way to long... 🙂

Ok, I have to get busy today as I have a ton of stuff on the To Do list, and I'm already pressed for time...

    Thanks again everyone!!
    Jesse

  • Woohoo... I think I found my spooner or celery vase... here is a current listing on Ebay but they say it is a celery vase...
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/EAPG-CRYSTAL-HICKMAN-LACLEDE-CELERY-VASE-MCKEE-BROS-1897-/111424892934?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19f170f006

Which it may be a celery vase, but I'm not sure...

  • Good Saturday Morning Glass Board...

I've been meaning to get over here for the last two weeks, and just haven't had the time till today...

I'm cleaning out my stash in the closet and trying to ID some of the pieces and I've been able to ID a ton already, but this EAPG Spooner or Celery Vase has me stumped...

It measures 6 and 1/4 inches tall, 3 and 3/4 inches outside diameter at the top, and the base diameter is 3 and 1/8 inches.

    Here are some pics:

  • Good Morning Glassies...

Just checking in to see if anyone had any more clues on my EAPG items I posted yesterday @ 1:45EDT... I'll be checking in and out all day today...

@wattleihavenext / Julie - So Nice to see you and thank's for the hello... 🙂

    Have a Great Day Everyone!!
    Jesse

  • @george / Gabla... Thank you for the name... LOL... I can be so stupid sometimes... I just looked on the internet and can not seem to find this size "Measures 3 and 3/4 inches tall, the outside diameter at the top is 2 and 1/2 inches, and the base is 2 and 1/4 inches in diameter."... It would easily hold 3 to 3.5 ounces easily, so will just list as a "wine" unless someone else comes along and says differently... 🙂

  • Good Morning Glass Chat...

I know long time no see... I've been busy with other things lately and just haven't had time to keep up let alone list anything in my Etsy Shop... However, things are slowing down now that summer is here... So, I'm back trying to ID some EAPG Wine / Cordials that I've had forever and need to get listed...

If you have the time to check them it out I sure would appreciate the help... 🙂

    1. This has 4 rows of "honeycombs", and I remember a while back that US Glass's "New York" pattern had I think 5 rows???

Measures 3 and 7/8 inches tall, outside diameter at the top is 1 and 7/8 inches, base diameter is roughly the same.

    http://i59.tinypic.com/2aiz68.jpg

    2. This has rows and columns of convex ovals along with an interesting almost like a barrel stem.

Measures 3 and 3/4 inches tall, 1 and 7/8 inches in outside diameter at the top, and the base diameter is the same.

    3. This reminds me of ferns in a cathedral arch, but that is all I can think of... LOL

Measures 4 and 1/4 inches tall, 2 and 1/4 inches in outside diameter at the top and the base diameter is 2 inches.

    4. This one has columns of 3 dots on the bowl portion, and the base has similar dots, but not equal in columns or dots in a row.

Measures 3 and 7/8 inches tall, 2 inches in diameter at the top, and the base diameter is roughly 2 inches as well.

    5. This one has oak? leaves, with what appears to be bleeding heart vines, I also have the water goblet to this one as well.

Measures 3 and 3/4 inches tall, the outside diameter at the top is 2 and 1/2 inches, and the base is 2 and 1/4 inches in diameter.

    6. This one has 3 rows of conaved ovals... and it also has a rather large flake chip on the top of the base, but was still wanting to know the pattern...

Measures 4 and 1/8 inches tall, 1 and 7/8 inches wide at the top, and 2 inches in diameter at the base...

  • Good Morning Glassies:

glass*usa / Bob - Thank you for the ID... I really appreciate you taking the time to help... I really need to find some good references from Fenton Glass... I have a a good variety of books on different companies and eras, but none on anything related to Fenton.

Cold 17*F here this morning and wind gust from 5 to 10 mph... Good day to stay inside and list, list, list...

    Talk to you all later,
    Jesse

  • Shoot forgot the measurements:

Measures 7 and 3/4 inches tall, 5 and 1/4 inches from the outside edge of the upper fringe to the outside edge of the other side of the upper fringe. It is 4 inches from outside edge of the basket handle to the outside edge of the handle on the other side. The base measures 3 and 1/4 inches in diameter and the widest point of the basket at the bottom portin is right at 4 and 1/2 inches in diameter.

  • Good Evening Glassies...

I finally had some time to get this Fenton Vasa Murrhina Rose & Green Aventurine Basket photographed... Here are some pics:
    http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=5vrv4j&s=8#.UvLj7PldV8E
    http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=qqbpmx&s=8#.UvLkGfldV8E

    http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2d17qpw&s=8#.UvLkTvldV8E

    My questions are:
Do I have the correct colors when I list?
    Date of Production?
Is there a specific name for this shape of Basket?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you in advance... Back to taking some more pics... 🙂

  • Good Morning Glassies...

Yesterday we received a good 1/2 inch of ice everywhere... Today the temp is 30F, with expected wind gust of 10 to 15 mph... so if we get wind we will have more trees down and power outages... Our power kept blinking on and off all afternoon, but by evening it was fine and still is on as of right now...

I listed 5 cruets, and 2 goblets yesterday on Etsy... and plan on listing some jewelry today since I'm not leaving the house again... which is a good thing...

Everyone receiving bad weather today, please stay safe and warm... Anyone else wishing Spring would just arrive??? I know I am...
    Jesse

  • Shelly - Etsy is a great site to sell on... Low listing fees, low final value fees... plus your listings are good for 4 months before they expire... The only thing that is a pain right now is that there is not a shipping calculator, so you have to do some "guesswork" when listing... They also offer direct checkout, which the buyer can use a credit card to pay and avoid paypal fees, then etsy places the funds directly into your bank account. They do charge a fee, but in my opinion lower than PayPal fees... and a lot easier to get your money to your bank...

  • IreneM - I added your shop to my favorites and added a few items to my favorites as well... My glass items are selling better than my jewelry right now... it is weird to say the least... LOL... Did you hear that Etsy is getting ready to finally develop a "shipping calculator" sometime this year? I'm so excited, because that will save me a ton of time when listing...

Speaking of listing I need to try and get something listed before our electric decides to shut down... almost a 1/2 inch of ice on the trees and everything else... and it is still coming down...

  • Good Morning Glassies,

Gail - I'll take that coffee it looks great, just what I need with this ice and sleet that we are seeing in Little Rock this morning... Local news is saying all major highways (I30 & I40) are stopped in the metro area with wrecks everywhere... Suppose to get up to 39 later this afternoon... we are currently @ 27*F... I'm going to have to think about moving farther south I'm tired of all this crap this year...

Julie - Please send my warm weather back ASAP... I think it's our time once again, you have had it long enough... 🙂

Well Hopefully I can get some of this EAPG listed today on Etsy... I have 3 cruets and two goblets to list... Just have to write up the descriptions, and list them...

I hope everyone has a great day..
    Jesse

  • Good Morning Glassies...

Gail - @songbreeze - Were your worksheets in Excel format on your old computer? If so they should open with your Microsoft Office... The only other program that I know of that might work is called "OpenOffice" it opens just about any type of Word or Spreadsheet.

Well I have to get busy with the real job...
    Jesse

  • Good Morning Glassies...

Beautiful weather here all weekend upper to mid 60s and lots of sun... but today is another story temp is dropping all day long as another cold front moves through... Our high was 39 @ midnight... Currently 30... LOL...

Wendy - I have several of those bowls and candlestick sets, and to be honest with you it will be easier to identify the candlestick... as the bowls are so plain... the copper wheel etching is also a pain in the rear to identify... and was more than likely done by an outside decorating company .

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARYMELODEE... Long time no see... Hope you are doing well and life is going good for you...

Well time to get started on laundry, doing paperwork, and cleaning some glass so I can try to find some ID's later today or tomorrow...

    Have a Great Day Everyone,
    Jesse

  • Good Morning Glassies,

Thanks again for all of the Birthday Wishes... Had a Great Day... Went for a 4 mile walk with just me and my camera along the Arkansas River... It was a great...

I hope to get my glass cleaned up from the Estate Sale I went too on Friday today... and if not today then tomorrow... LOL...

gailmac - I have seen those salts before somewhere but I don't think it was in any of my books, but somewhere online, but sadly I do NOT remember what they were as far as pattern or maker...

    Off to Finish my Coffee...

  • Good Morning Glass Board...

Thank you for all of the Birthday Wishes... Another year old and looking forward to the next one as well... LOL

Shelly - I agree with George, those candleholders look like Post WWII and are more than likely Czech... Cute!!

Gail - Glad you found your bowl...

Went to an Estate Sale yesterday and walked out with a few nice items... a Fenton Vase Murriana(sp) basket in rose pink and green... Looked on Ebay and couldn't find one exactly the same, as mine has a light pattern and not as bold as the ones I see listed... however I bought it cheap because they did not know it was Fenton... I also bought a L E Smith piece in the orange "slag glass", but I know it isn't called slag glass... original sticker... came with a lid but I think the lid may be a marriage... Will have to take some pics next week and see what you all think... I also bought some nice jewelry for my Etsy shop and my showcase... so all in all it was a good sale to hit... the first Estate Sale I've hit in about 6 months or so...

I'll talk to y'all later this afternoon or tomorrow...
    Jesse

  • that should be circa 1885 and 1890 by US Glass Co...

  • @sfinds ... I think you might have found it... I found another listing for a vase or goblet on Worthpoint that has the same pattern... so I think it is Bellaire Findlay by the Bellaire Goblet Co, circa 1895 and later by US Glass Co.

  • Good Afternoon Glass Board...

Finally getting back to ID'ing some of this EAPG that is setting around the house to list on my Etsy shop...

This Cruet is driving me crazy... it is some sort of "Bullseye" pattern... anyone know anything on this one??

  • Good Afternoon...

Ok, I'm trying to decide on whether to list my Westward Ho Wine on Ebay or just list in my shop on Etsy... I have not sold anything on Ebay in almost 3 years I think... it has been a while I know that... Does Ebay hold funds of sales if the seller has not been active on Ebay? or does that just apply to new sellers???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

    Thanks everyone,
    Jesse

  • Good Morning Glassies...

Never made it back yesterday to thank @George - gabla for all of the great information that he shared on my Westward Ho wine cordial... Hopefully later this morning I will be able to get some pics of the Water Goblet and post them as well...

Time to check on my Etsy shop and do some promotion... Talk to y'all later this afternoon...

    Jesse

  • @george - Gabla ~ What??? You mean I have something that is rare... LOL... This thing is so perfect I thought for sure it was a reproduction... Now to figure out a price for it and list it in my shop tomorrow... I'll get some pictures of the Goblet I have as well and maybe you can tell me if it is real or not...

    Thanks for the info... 🙂

  • One more EAPG Question... I have a Westward Ho, Wine and Water Goblet that I'm almost positive are reproductions as they are just too darn perfect... My question is about when did Wright do all those reproductions? In other words how old would the reproductions be???

Here are some pics of the wine:
    https://plus.google.com/107186547103382817329/posts/M5HWtzBCJDx

Measures 4 and 3/8 inches tall, 2 and 1/8 inches wide at the top, and the base diameter is 2 inches.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you in advance,
    Jesse

  • @songbreeze - Gail ~ just re-read your response and now I know my answer... It is Mckee's Feather Swirl AKA Doric and is worth 20% less then the other version... 🙂

  • @songbreeze - Gail ~ I'm sure that the Greek Key goblet is flint it is very heavy, has an awesome brilliance and rings like a bell when struck on the top edge... What do you think about the second item that I posted... Is it Feather Swirl AKA Doric?

Just got back from my 4 mile walk... I'm tired... going to do some catch up computer stuff then I'm calling it a night early today...

I'll check back in before I head to the bed... LOL...

    Jesse

  • Good Afternoon Glassies...

Carl - Thank you for your daily glass tip... I'm really enjoying reading them and learning along with everyone else...

I've been listing jewelry all morning long and I needed a break so I thought I would run a few pieces of EAPG by you all and see what you think....

I have this "EAPG Greek Key Flint Glass Goblet" and I see them posted and selling pretty good on Ebay, however none of the auctions or listings I have found give any good info on maker or possible time period... I was wandering if anyone here might be able to help me with some of that info...

The Goblet measures 6 inches tall, 3 inches in diameter at the top, and the base diameter is 3 inches as well.

    Here are the pics: https://plus.google.com/107186547103382817329/posts/5Rv6qCUirt4

Ok, just one more and I'll leave y'all alone for today... LOL..

I have this wine glass that I see on Ebay and other e-commerce sites listed as McKee Glass pattern known as Feather Swirl or Doric... but Most of the Doric I have seen does not match these entirely... as the top of the swirls have no swirl or "half circle" that I'm use to seeing with this pattern.

This wine measures 4 inches tall, 1 and 7/8 inches in diameter at the top and the base diameter is 2 inches.

    Here are the pics: https://plus.google.com/107186547103382817329/posts/Jk36zrDf48i

I'm still looking for about 30 other Unknown EAPG patterns so I better get busy and hopefully I can get lucky and find a few today... I'll be back later to see if anyone has responded...

    Thank you in advance,
    Jesse

  • @songbreeze - Gail ~ That is interesting as my shop is "jessesvintage" and theres is JesseVintage, but they don't have anything listed... The results you see are for items that contain the tags "Jesse" & "Vintage"... when looking for my shop just type in "jessesvintage" into the search bar and if you wait a second you will see an option for "shops that contain ... " whatever you typed... but I also have items tagged "jessesvintage" so you can find me as well that way... Etsy is so different from Ebay... but the fees are cheaper... 🙂

  • @songbreeze - Gail ~ I'm glad that they arrived safely... it has been awhile since I shipped any glass... LOL...

On Etsy you have to wait usually about 7 to 10 days before you can "review" or leave feedback... Just sign into your account... then in the upper right hand corner you will see a blue link that says "Your Account", hover your mouse over that and then click purchases... That will bring up a list of all the items you have purchased on Etsy... you will then see where you can leave a review for each item... easy peasy...

  • @songbreeze - Gail ~ THANK YOU so much... I knew there had to be a good way to tell the spooner and goblet apart... at least now I know... I can now get this listed tomorrow in my shop... BTW, did your packages arrive safely?

  • @mainewildrose - Sue - The whole piece measures 6 inches tall, 3 and 1/8 inches in diameter at the top and the base diameter is 3 and 1/8 inches as well. The bowl portion measures approximately 3 and 7/8 inches deep... The ones listed as 8 inches tall on Ebay would those be the Goblets?????????

  • @george Gabla - are you thinking it is a spooner or celery vase because of the short stem? 2 and 1/4 inches of a teaspoon sticks out of the top when placed inside...

  • @carma Carl - I don't think it is the celery vase... according to the listings I see on Ebay the celery vase is 8 to 8 1/8 inches tall... I really feel like this is the Water Goblet or Tumbler, as if if were the spooner it would be smaller and most likely flared at the rim and this one is straight at the rim...

Maybe Gail will stop in and clarify for both of us... Thank you for your help though Carma... I really appreciate it... 🙂

  • @carma Carl here is a link to the photos... the first picture has all of the measurements in the caption... https://plus.google.com/107186547103382817329/posts/ad4XQugEt5q

  • Good Afternoon Glassies,

I have a piece of MASCOTTE EAPG that measures 6 inches tall... I see some are calling this the spooner and some are calling this a Water Goblet... I can't find any definite searching the web... Can anyone help me here???

    Jesse

  • Good Afternoon Glass Board...

Sorry I've been MIA for the last couple of days, but I've been busy listing on Etsy and taking pics of all of this glass that I have to research and list...

Carl / carma48 - I remember when you bought that Pink Satin Pitcher... glad to know that it went to a nice person (donscns)...

Well need to get back to it and take more pics and research... I might be back in a little bit with some glass that I need help with... if not I'll check back in tomorrow...

    Jesse

  • Good Evening Glassies,

    Nice pieces Wendy...

Shelly - I have one Garfield Drape water goblet to list myself and plan on taking the pics tomorrow and hopefully listing it as well...

Well off to a late dinner... I've been working since 7am this morning on my shop on Etsy... Now it is time to call it quits for the day...

See you all in the AM...
    Jesse

  • Good Afternoon Glassies,

Well cloudy, and raining forecast for the rest of today and into tomorrow... I'm not complaining though as I have way too much stuff to do inside today and I get better pictures when it is cloudy for some strange reason...

Loved the pics of the grandchildren...

Carma - Carl - your daily Glass Goodie has been excellent information... Thank you so much for sharing your vase knowledge of glass to the group...

Well I need to finish the laundry from yesterday, clean the kitchen then get started working my shop and listing, listing, listing...

I'll stop back in later this afternoon...

    Jesse

  • Good Afternoon Glass Board:

Julie - Glad that your friends are ok and were not affected by the fires... 🙂

Shelly - I use to sell on Ebay, but got fed up with all the changes and the HIGH Fees... so I stopped selling for a couple of years and just sold out of my showcase at the Antique Mall... then I opened my Etsy store and I love it... started with Jewelry for the first 3 years, and now I'm starting to add glass items... I've sold 2 pieces of glass in less than a week, so I'm optimistic for additional sales in the future... Etsy has it's issues as well as Ebay, but at least the fees are bearable and don't feel like I'm being overcharged like on Ebay...

Well I've listed the two items Gayle and Sue helped me with yesterday and now I'm going to work on some jewelry items to re-list since I can't take photos till my backgrounds get out of the washer and dryer... I was trying to go with all gray backgrounds in my shop, but EAPG just doesn't photo well against gray backgrounds... So, I'm either going to go with blue, or black... More than likely blue as I liked it when I used it on Ebay...

    TTYL,
    Jesse (JessesVintage on Etsy)

  • @songbreeze - Gail - Thanks for the confirmation... I'll get it listed tomorrow and hopefully it will sell quickly... 🙂

Went through Ebay EAPG items today and was able to identify about 5 more goblets and wine cordials today... so that was a good thing... the bad thing is I still have 20 or so that need an ID... LOL... Once I get these listed that I know, I'll be back with more for some help...

Thanks everyone... Have a Great Evening... Jesse

  • @mainewildrose - Thank you for that info... Just what I needed... I'm sure this is from the 1948-1953 run because of the pale coloring of the crest itself... I appreciate you taking the time to look it up for me...

@donscns - Don Thanks for looking... I saw several in the Sold Listings on Ebay and everyone I saw did sell... so it must be a good one, too bad I won't be listing mine on Ebay, but I'm sure buyers will find it if they are actively looking for it on Etsy where I sell... I'll wait to see of Gail has anything to add before I list it...

  • Ok... EAPG Question... I found this Completed Auction on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-FIGURAL-WATER-GOBLET-OWL-WITH-FAN-PARROT-AND-FAN-1880s-8-oz-EAPG-/331031939699?hash=item4d130a8a73&nma=true&si=zxjA4nESUVcBXeHdLldWwPVi5dU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Is this pattern still an Unknown Mfg? I have one and was just wanting to make sure that the info in the auction is correct... I hope I'm allowed to post completed auctions here... If not just let me know and I'll never do it again...

    Thanks in advance...

  • Ok, here is the Fenton Aqua Crest Double Crimped Small Vase...

Fenton Aqua Crest issued 3 time frames; 1940-42, 1948-1953, 1963-1964

This dates to the 1948-1953 time frame because of the pale blue color and the milkglass portion of the double crimped vase reflects the earlier almost translucent milk glass that Fenton referred to as "Opal".

Measures 4 and 1/4 inches tall, 4 inches wide at the widest point of the crimps, and the base diameter is 2 and 1/4 inches...

Anyone know the Fenton Ware #?

  • Gail - @songbreeze - As always Thank you very much... I just knew it had to be Smith... and with the info you gave I can now list with all of the correct info... 🙂

I'll be back with a Fenton Aqua Crest Vase that I'm trying to figure out the Ware Number on if I can't locate it myself... Still doing some research on that one...

  • Good Afternoon Glass Board...

I have this Amberina Crimped Footed Candy Dish with a grape and leaf pattern on it... It measures 5 and 1/2 inches tall, 4 and 3/8 inches outside diameter at the top, and the base diameter is 2 and 3/4 inches... I'm thinking L E Smith, but was wandering if anyone knew the pattern or possible date of production...

    Thank you in advance,
    Jesse

  • @songbreeze Gail - Thank you very much... I appreciate it...

  • @nona & @songbreeze - Co-Op #295 is the pattern for the cordials... now anyone know of a date other than the dates usally associated with EAPG of 1890 to 1910???

  • Gail @songbreeze & @nona NANCYJEAN - Thanks for the info... I will check out both patterns as much as possible with the limited EAPG material that I have here at the house... If I can come up with a definite match I'll be back to report... but first I have to get some cleaning done around the house... Talk to you soon, Jesse

  • Good Late Morning Glassies...

I told you I would be back... LOL... Just scrolled and it is so nice to see all of the lovely glassies from my Ebay days... and some new ones as well...

Here is another unknown EAPG pattern to me... I thought I had this pattern before, but I have looked in all my spreadsheets and I can not find it... so if anyone can help I would appreciate it...

This matching pair of wine cordials measure 3 and 5/8 inches tall, 1 and 5/8 inches in diameter at the top and the base diameter is 1 and 5/8 inches as well... They have a diamond pattern...

  • Don @donscns - Thank you for the link... I have added it to my favorites and will give it a look over in the morning... 🙂

  • Gail @songbreeze ... Thank you for the reference... Have a Great Dinner with your Sister... Sounds great!! 🙂

  • Gail @songbreeze Thank you very much... Oh I will be stopping back quite often... Like I said in my earlier post I have a ton of EAPG that I need to sell or take back to auction one of the other... So, identifying them will be the key...

what is the "patterglass school"? is this something I should know about because this is the first time I have heard of it...

Once again thanks for the help... off to take more pics... Jesse

  • Hey @wattleihavenext ... Nice to see you... was just thinking of you last week when I was cleaning my Flower Frogs...

    Good Luck with your Market...

  • Good Evening Glass Board Peeps...

I know it has been a long time since I posted.. but to say life has been a pain the last year would be an under statement... But, I'm back to listing some glass on Etsy with my Jewelry and I need some help please...

This is the first of many EAPG wines that I have inherited through an Estate that I liquidated for a good friend who in the process of my selling off the items passed and the executor of the Estate told me to just keep the remaining inventory... This was 2 years ago, and I'm just now getting around to trying to ID them...

I've looked in McCains and I can't seem to locate this pattern, and I don't have a subscription to the online EAPG pattern site... So, I was wandering if anyone could help me with this...

The wine cordial measures 3 and 3/4 inches tall, the outside diameter is 1 and 15/16 of an inch, and the base diameter is 1 and 7/8 of an inch... It has a floral almost fern like pattern with a square border of squares with dots in the middle, and the corner of the square border has x's inside the squares...

    I'll check back later...

    Jesse (jrm*rock from Ebay Days)

  • Sue - Thank you for the id, always appreciated...

  • Good Afternoon Glassies...

Went to an Estate Sale Friday and picked up this EAPG "Sweet Plate"... Measures 7 inches square... Anyone recognize the pattern info??

    Thank you in advance...
    Jesse

  • @songbreeze / Gail - Those pictures were real quick last night... I didn't have time to set up my light box for taking pictures of glass, it is currently set up for my jewelry pics... I'll get some new pictures this weekend of the flutes and send them to replacements... I'll keep everyone updated if I ever hear anything from replacements.com

    Jesse

  • Good Morning...

@glassusa / Bob - Thanks for the ID on the vase... I was pretty sure it was Candlewick, but could not locate in my only book that has "some" candlewick...

@songbreeze / Gail - Thanks for looking... The flutes will probably find a home in one of my china cabinets... These are the first ones I've seen with 3 different colors of glass...

@donscns / Don - Thanks for looking I really appreciate it...

@fyrqueen / Katie_Delano - Thank you for looking as well...

@wattleihavenext / Julie - I'm glad the second link worked... sorry to hear about your auctions... I hope in the end everything was ok...

I'll check back later today... Talk to everyone soon...
    Jesse

  • @songbreeze Gail... that is strange because I can see it... I'll try something else tomorrow...

    Jesse. -Off to Bed .

  • @Julie --- I'm glad that you still have that little brooch... I'll go ahead and upload those pics to Flickr... Thanks for the heads up...

Here is a different link to Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jessesvintage/sets/72157633612613719/

Hopefully that one will work!! LOL!!

  • Good Evening Glass Board...

I know it has a been a long time since I've stopped in or posted, but things have been very hectic for the last 6 to 9 months... But I'm finally getting down to trying to ID some of the glassware I've been stockpiling for over 2 years in the upstairs closet... LOL... Then today I went to an Estate Sale and somehow several pieces of "Unknown" glassware found there way in my vehicle and now they need a name...

I uploaded the pictures to my Google+ Albums... So, I'm hoping that they can be viewed from there... If not just let me know and I'll upload them to my Flickr Account instead...

The first item is a rather large crimped "Candlewick" vase, and the second is a set of 4 champagne flutes... The flutes have pink bowls, emerald glass stems and what I believe to be neodmyium or however it is spelled bases... The measurements are in the captions of the pictures in the album...

    Talk to y'all soon...
    Jesse

  • @Lainey... Thanks for the information, this tells me exactly what I thought... I still like the photos though... LOL...

    Jesse

  • Good Evening Glass Chat...

Ive been a busy little beaver lately and have NOT had time to stop in... I know that this is a glass board but does anyone have the LLadro book... I have this figurine and was really trying to get a date and BV if known... Also, I'm not sure that the signature is correct...

Here is a link to my Picasa Album:
    https://picasaweb.google.com/107186547103382817329/LLadroGirlWithFlowerPot

I hope that works... Any information would be appreciated... I'm selling this for a client and don't want to "give it away"... LOL...

Also, I bought a new camera for my jewelry and haven't done any glass with it, but these pictures are lovely!!!

    Later,
    Jesse

  • Good Morning Glass Board...

I see @chatsworthvintage made it to the board... Elaine is a teammate of mine on Etsy, and she has some gorgeous candlesticks that she had some questions on... So, I sent her here to my "Glassie" friends...

Getting ready to take some pictures on some jewelry and get those listed this afternoon... I finished up my receipts for the Accountant yesterday, so I have that behind me for another year...

If I ever get caught up on the jewelry I have some glass that I need to post to see if anyone can help me out as well... I would take pictures but my photography area is set up for jewelry right now, and if I change it to take pictures for glass it will take too much time to reset for jewelry... I really need a larger area for taking my pictures, but that would mean loosing a curio or two of my cherished "Green Depression Glass"... and we all know how I feel about that... LOL...

Well better get busy... Talk to y'all soon... Jesse

  • Good Evening Glass Board...

Just thought I would stop in and say hello... I've been listing my little heart off in my Etsy shop and on my own site jessesvintage.com plus promoting it on Twitter... It is a ton of work, but I'm finally starting to see "fruit from my labor"...

@wattleihavenext - glad to see that your not in the flooded areas... I have been watching CNN International and it amazes me the amount of people that have been affected by the floods...

@songbreeze - Hope you found some goodies in Joplin today...

@suefromoz - Gorgeous pitcher... sorry I can not help with identifying it though...

Well time to get busy for a couple of hours... I'll try to stop back more often I promise...
    Jesse

  • Good Afternoon Glass Board...

Thanks for all of the Birthday messages, they are appreciated as always...

I have not been around much as I'm still dealing mainly with Costume Jewelry and only buying glass for my personal collection... LOL...

I'll try and stop back more often, but it is hard with all the things I have to do these days... Real job, has been very slow, and a good majority of my income is coming from my jewelry sales on etsy... so I have to keep it looking fresh and plus promote it on Twitter and other social media sites to stay relevant...

Well gotta get busy... Talk to Y'all Soon... Jesse

  • Good Afternoon Glass Board...
Thanks to everyone for the warm Welcome Back... Just wanted to stop in and say hello...
@Shelly - That basket is Gorgeous... and for $5 even makes it more fabulous...

Well time to get started back on the kitchen...
    Jesse

  • Yes,
I have been very busy with my real job, my jewelry online shop, and we are gutting our kitchen and doing a "re-do"... so I've been a bit "rattled" lately... LOL... I hope to keep up and post more often... I do have some glass that I need some help with, so maybe I can get it photographed and post it for some help...

Well gotta get my act busy and get something accomplished this afternoon...
    Later,
    Jesse

  • Howdy Everyone!! I just found out about the new board... I'm so excited...
