Good evening Glassies all. Just got back from a great WE in the mountains of western Maryland and West VA. Color is at most 1 or 2 weeks from peak. Deer are everywhere to be seen and a flock of turkey passed across the field the other side of the street from my house. Soon they will be hard to find as hunting season will be upon us.

@faeowyn Shari, Your refrigerator box looks to be Hocking. Florence's book, Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years shows it but gives no pattern name. Just calls it, Panelled refrigerator dish 8" x 8", 4" x 8", 4" x 4". It had a cover.

I checked my limited resources for your Depression glass creamer & refrigerator jar but had no luck locating them. I agree with George on the McKee reproduction probably by Kemple. Didn't have any luck trying to track down the pattern on the ramekin either. Sorry.

It was No.810 Old English Hobnail made 1968-1972 by L.E. Smith. I know....they look like diamonds or squares and nothing like hobnails... but I'm looking right at the picture in Felt's L.E. However, with eBay's new Seller protection program, I thought that they buyer had to contact the seller before filing a case. Now, no case was filed on you, however I think eBay really might help remove that FB because the buyer didn't contact you first.

You'd probably kick me if you could as I keep saying post all the pictures you want.......but I haven't been able to help ID a one of them! 😯 Sorry but I don't know your green vase or little covered jar.

Jim @newtonenterprises I whole heartedly agree with you. And I have never had a problem leaving a neg FB to those that deserve it. It is all we have to warn others NOT to risk dealing with them.
I know there are lots out there though that shy away from giving a neg in fear of getting a retaliatory one back.
Shari @faeowyn If you believe the neg was unfair I would try requesting to have it removed. Nothing ventured , nothing gained. And all ebay can do is say No BUT you may be pleasantly surprised and they will remove it. Worked for me earlier on this year..or was that last year??... anyway it worked.
Gail @songbreeze so sorry you had to deal with an amateur seller . I'd be giving her a neg and warning others that she does not pack adequately. does not obey eBay's insurance policy rules & does not care about good customer service.

@glassusa BOB … that Forest Green will probably do you real well what with Christmas just around the corner. Other than red and green glass selling at Christmas I can’t forecast what the ding-dong will sell at any given time. WIsh I had a crystal ball to see what people want.

@faeowyn SHARI … I’m just striking out today on trying to ID anything. Cute little honey dish but I have no idea who or when on it. The little hobnail toothpick, I found a couple on eBay but they had no ID. One in cobalt sold for $1.99 and another in amber is with 2 other amber toothpicks without a bid yet. Can’t help with the Daisy & Button nor with the candlesticks. Sorry.

Time to go to church this evening and then share pot luck in the parish hall afterward. I made some little mini cinnamon swirl streusel muffins for dessert … straight from the box. 😯

Even so you might enjoy this website for restaurant ware... http://www.restaurantwarecollectors.com/

@faeowyn SHARI ... what an unusual decoration on that vase. Sorry I can't help. Hope someone else will be able to clue us in. I'm going to go ahead and post this message and then look at the other items you've posted.

I've got one of those ornate things I surely need help with. I'll take a picture at some point and maybe you all can check on it for me.

Mary... sure the seller is suppose to have the insurance built in. That's why I said "In spite of eBay policy" she made the purchase of it up to the buyer. I did not purchase it. She called eBay and wasn't particularly happy with their answer. This is a quote to me from her email "I guess I really have no option...I don't think I would normally be responsible for an item damaged in shipping (as ebay told me)...." Like JimD said...some people are just amateurs.

@faeowyn SHARI … about your Dog Head. The book says it was made in frosted blue, clear frosted, clear, frosted amber, Nile green and chocolate. Furthe it says St. Clair in 1973 used an old Nile green Greentown dog head to make the mold for these chocolate dog heads. The St Clair Dog Head has become one the most reproduced copies….is found in chocolate, Nile green, opaque green and cobalt. No where can I find a reference to the color that you have or who made that color.

@faeowyn SHARI.... Thanks so much for sharing some of your history with us. I sell on eBay as oklahomasong and my story is on my eBay AboutMe page. I’d love having a B&M store IF I had a computer and could still eBay and IF I had super reliable help so that I could still get out to treasure hunt occasionally and go to conventions. I love going down to the local mall and helping out if they are busy.

HMmmmmmmmmmmmm, I have a SHARI ALERT. Wondering if between here and the eBay board we have two different SHARIs. Is our newest registered Shari/faeowyn the same as our eBay Shari/the_treasure_port ... or are they do different people?
