Good Morning everyone. I've been out in my van unloading the swapmeet stuff and cleaning. I am taking my 5 yr old grand daughter away camping by the river over the weekend. It will be our first camping trip together. Looking forward to it. 😀
Reen @reen sun is shining atm but maybe some showers later.Temps are starting to drop to a more bearable level for us.

@1citydude: I've always liked big kitchens. When my sisters & I were growing up, my grandfather's & my uncles farmhouses all had big kitchens. Aunts, uncles & cousins were in & out of them all the time and they were gathering places. And, they needed big kitchens because at harvest time they had to prepare meals for all the harvest crews as well as family. So, just kind of got accustomed to large kitchens. One of the things I liked about this place when I bought it. The kitchen, including the small pantry room, is 14 feet by 24 feet. Almost 20 feet of counter space & a total of 25 cabinets & 8 drawers. Also has a large bay window. Big job to renovate it, but we're pacing ourselves & having fun doing it. Will hopefully have the painting & cabinet refinishing done by the end of this week. Then we'll take a break for 2 or 3 weeks & then tackle the new countertops. The new flooring will likely wait until next spring.

Good morning, glassies. Poured rain in the middle of the night and it's chilly and gray looking so far this morning. Hopefully the rain has moved out and it will continue to dry out as the day goes on. However it's suppose to rain again sometime tonight. Today is the day of our big annual Oktoberfest, our Church's largest charity fund raising. I'll be heading out shortly. We work off and on all day at the event.
