We are still in lock down, it was suppose to finish end of this week. BUT stupidity strikes again, extending it once again, all because a person who was positive was travelling from Sydney to our region each day working For starters, Sydney has been in total lockdown, so this bloke should not have left his Local Govt Area at all and 2ndly he had tested positive so he should have been in isolation and remained at home 24/7 for 2 weeks. So.. after our region was starting to do so well from the last positive Sydneysiders,coming here, going against the rules and infecting ppl, this bloke has destroyed all that again by infecting more ppl in my region. I received my second Covid vaccine yesterday too. All good, no side effects at all,My injection site isn't even sore.

It's my granddaughter's 8th birthday today. I'll be taking her shopping for her b/day present. She loves that idea, where she can browse the shops and choose. We did it last year too. And it's a good time to get some bargains Last year she had been eyeing off a toy that had a $300 price tag on it. She had it on her Santa list. But Santa didn't bring it. We were shopping for her b/day present and there it was and she really did have her heart set on it. Price tags mean nothing to little ones.The look in her eyes when she saw it..aaawww how could Grandma resist (remembering those presents I had so longed for but never got) It was all she really wanted. BINGO!!! on sale for $100 😀

It's hot here 30 Celsius at 11a.m and getting hotter . It's suppose to reach 37C by 3p.m . Boot camp this afternoon will be challenging, to say the least after all the Xmas feastivity.( Bollinger Champagne, Trifle and Pavlova LOL ) Plenty of water is on the menu for me today.

Told sister it was the best fun I had ever had shopping with her LOL

DD is at work -- she always works on Christmas so others can be home with their families. We won't see her until tomorrow morning as she works a 24-hour shift (but that means she can take off Thursday and Friday and do stuff with us).

Got 2 boxes packed and off to the Post Office, then off to the bank. Had to go to Walmart and buy groceries and get printer ink as I was running out of tri-color. Home again and got payment for another item I sold, so packaged it and back to the Post Office. Came home and notified the buyers and then started entering the inventory of the new things I bought . Sister came by and we chatted for a couple of hours about the funeral and the different relatives etc. She just left. I haven't even eaten lunch of supper yet. Only had a glass of milk and two Zinger mid-morning. Going to go raid the kitchen for something to eat.

I need to take a picture of some tumblers I got...Carnival Glass with a grape motif which I thought would be a cinch to ID....Not. Has a rick-rack /zig-zag band at the top with beads in it and a diamond band with a bead in each at the bottom. and then six groups of grapes with no leaves going around the center. Must go eat first though and put my feet up for a while....
