    GAIL @gailmacphee
    &
    CHRIS @collectibles4utwo

  • @memoriesofyesterdays ROSE... FWIW, the BV showed $100. I have no idea what the MV today might be.

  • Good evening Glass Friends,

    @gailmacphee Gail Mac & @collectibles4utwo Chris — HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

    @mactiki Don't know what they are but I really like those.---- A member of Advertising Collectibles says they are guinna hens.

    @reen The really good part of this is this son-in-law has never shown such enthusiasm for father child activities. His DD, the mother of the child , even wondered if he would really care about a grandchild.This is what I meant when I said being a great-grandparent was even better than being a grandparent. It is such fun to watch the grandparents and the aunts and uncles and the great aunts and great uncles.

    @jerseystar27 Thanks for the @gailmacphee Gail Mac & @collectibles4utwo . I had looked for them for when I posted their birthday greetings.I see that they have now posted but thanks anyway.

    @memoriesofyesterdays Rose ,Welcome. Come back soon and often. Beautiful bowl. I love yellow.

    Happy to report that a package shipped to Bankok Thailand on Oct. 23 by International First Class has arrived and buyer posted feedback.
    Also happy to report that an item that got a low offer was purchased by another buyer at full price.

    I think I'll go read my news magazine. Have one more ad to write. Maybe later or maybe tomorrow mum.

  • @memoriesofyesterdays ROSE ... OK, I found it. page 101 of "The Collector's Encyclopedia of Heisey Glass 1925-1939" by Neila Bredehoft. The pattern is their #1401 Line EMPRESS. You have what looks like the 9" Flared Floral Bowl ..and no, that particular bowl does not have Dolphin feet. Made between 1930-1938.

  • @memoriesofyesterdays ROSE ... Welcome to the Glass Chatroom! Sorry, I'm not too familiar with Heisey patterns. Sahara is the name of the yellow color Heisey used and it can be found on many of their patterns. I don't have much reference material on Heisey, but I'm sure many of our other glassies know Heisey very well.

  • @memoriesofyesterdays Rose, go ahead and post the link.

    We still have power, but not sure for how much longer, Things flickered and went out but came right back (except, I think, for the cable TV). My parents, who live about 20 minutes north west of us had an oak tree come down in their driveway, but they still have power. And my sister, who's about 5 to 10 minutes further west of them, had a pine tree come down in her front yard (but she still has power). It's definitely getting windier. They're expecting Sandy to make landfall around Atlantic City around 7 pm -- this is good because it's before high tide. It's also a full moon tonight, so tide's are already higher than usual. Anyone along the coast is in trouble.
