Glass Chatroom Board

Good afternoon everyone. Finally getting a chance to sit and rest awhile, while I have a bite to eat and then I must get back to sorting and packing etc.

Bob @glassusa Prices were way too high. Probably on average at what I looked at, was 3x dearer then what I would see it priced in my State. From the look of a lot of the Antique shops in Queensland, they have done a few trips to England bought container loads of the glassware there (very cheap over there) & shipped it back. I have friends that do the trip themselves each year and do the same with various items.Not so much with glassware though because of size and weight.They say that lots of stalls at the Fairs & markets in Uk are choc-a block full of glassware and all priced very cheaply.

Shelly @shellyrae37 No never bought one piece of green glass. I did buy a set of Vallerysthal Blue Opaline stems to resell on eBay once I get a chance to do some more listings.

Gail @songbreeze you are always busy busy busy 🙂 I was just recently told by a friend that it is better to wear out than to rust out. 😆
