Thanks George, Maybe I'll list it for $14.99. That will still cover my investment.
I found a place to help me ID my EAPG but this, maybe a Powder Box, has me stumped. Very hard to photo also. It's 5 1/2" Long and 4" wide. Anyone ever seen anything like this, maybe depression?

Sorry to repeat myself, but anybody at all seen a Bakewell Pears (not Wright)Frosted Ribbon Goblet sell anywhere. I want to list it but the only price I can find is a market value of $130, don't I wish. I don't want to give it away but do want to sell it. Anyone think $19.99 would be a fair price? That does cover what I have invested.

Afternoon All! Sun shining bright and 103 degrees outside but it's a gloomy day for me. Hubby is back in the hospital, his lungs filled with fluid again. About the only thing that keeps me going lately is my fur babies and keep busy listing some things.
I have a Frosted Ribbon Goblet that I was told by an appraiser is the original Bakewell Pears, not the L.G.Wright repro. I joined eapgpatterns.com and it says they the market value is $130. I'm not dumb enough to think that is what I can get for it but wonder if any of you have ever sold or seen one sell so I can get an idea of what to start it at? I see a few on Ebay and the price is all over the place and I don't know if they are the repro's or the original.

Speaking of Hummingbirds, we have 4 one quart and one 2 quart feeders outside and have to fill them every other day! They are so thick here if you go out on the porch they will think you are coming out to feed them and will land on your head. If you put some juice in your hand and hold real still they will come and drink from your hand.

Marson, should have read the posts before I posted. Julie, I got the measurements wrong!
They are 7 inches tall, the large hole is 3 1/2" in diameter and the small one is 1 1/2". Yes the hole goes all the way through, they are hollow inside. -
Diane posted an update Monday, Apr 29, 2013, 2:38pm EDT, 11 years ago
Hello everyone!
Julie, that was a very good thought, but sadly they are about 9 inches tall and too large to be for a bed. I have had a couple of piece that did go to an iron bed, alas, not these. Thank you for looking at them though.I put this piece on Ebay about 4 years ago and then decided I didn't want to sell there. I am 99% certain it's Richards and Hartley called Three Panel. I would like to know if that pattern has been reproduced. I believe Three Panel was made in the late 1800's from what I have read. This set just looks to new to have been made then. Anybody have an opinion on this Berry Set please?

Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. I almost give thanks that he is in the hospital for the last few days. I have been a basket case and think I have got it out of my system so when he comes home Monday I can be upbeat and not depressed. He is staying very upbeat with a great attitude which is good. Carl, that is probably a little cold even for me. We were up on a mountain right outside of Denver, about 6000 feet and the wind was 50 MPH. I only had on jeans and a sweatshirt and wasn't very cold. Eveyone was freezing in their Parka's and ear muffs and I wasn't cold at all. I just rarely get cold, but cannot stand the heat.

I hope this isn't too long, I'll only post part of the appraisal.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Secessionist enamelled and frosted glass pitcher, colourless glass with a frosted body and clear applied handle, the body painted with stylized acanthus leaves and geometrical motifs in gold and white enamel, Bohemia.Bohemia was a German-Austrian province which later became Czech Republic and this area is still famous for it's many glass works which produce high quality crystal and glass. Around 1900, the most famous Bohemian glass firm was Loetz Witwe, but there were countless smaller firms working in a similar style so it's hard to pinpoint your pitcher to a specific one.
Nevertheless a wonderful heirloom in great condition (the gold enamel paint wears off easily so it was probably hardly ever used).
If this is too long I apologize and will try to remove it

Is it too late for childhood stories? My younger sister and I were at our grandma's house. Grandpa had left his favorite smoking pipe on the table and my sister and I decided we wanted to try and smoke it. That was many years ago and grandma had an outhouse. My sister went to the outhouse to smoke the pipe. We got it lit and trying to smoke it when we heard foot steps coming. Grandpa looked for his favorite pipe for many years but never found it, we threw it in one of the holes in the outhouse, it was a two holer. Many, many years later I told grandpa what we had done.

Good Afternoon All! I am so excited and none of my friends are home that are into Antique Glass, I have to tell someone!! I bought this Pitcher at an estate sale about 2 years ago for $20, I just thought it was pretty. I took it to an appraiser last week and just gor the appraisal. I won't post it here as it may be too long, but it is Bohemian from around 1890 and valued at $800-$1500! It's in perfect condition! He wrote a very long appraisal and told me a lot about it. I am so excited with nobody to tell!

Carl, I live in a small farming community and there is no place close I could consign it to. I don't know about listing on line as it weighs a ton. Shipping would be outrageous.

Good Afternoon! Would you all like to have a good laugh? Went to an estate sale and bought a box lot because it had some things lying on the top that I wanted. Couldn't figure why they were in such a large box?? When I got home I found this at the bottom of the box. It is 14" tall, 15" across the mouth and the decoration on it is some type of metal. Here it is, anyone want to buy it as I'm sure it will go fast. LOL!!! Don't look if you are prone to have nightmares!

I don't feel so bad now that I couldn't ID that stem. Looks like nobody knows. Maybe foreign?:)

Thank you Gail! It's all the same bowl, just different views with poor pics. Didn't someone warn me about books by Carwile or was that someone else?

Gail, thanks again for the Irish Coffee ID. I have never heard of Avitra Crystal. I think I will watch for it though as these I have are exceptionally well made and lovely!

Good Afternoon All! I have this Fenton Dish and when I look up the pattern all I find is "Beaded Star and Swag." Mine has no swags is it still the same pattern as the ones with the swage. I want to sell it but don't want to mislead someone by calling it the incorrect name.

Thanks Fran! I guess I was correct when I said they are cut and etched.

Gail, you saved me from looking anymore for that pattern. I kept wanting to say Daisy and Fern but knew that wasn't right.
