I have had a very productive day but am totally exhausted and aching all over now. Painting(redid the surface of my cast iron bath tub) lifting and moving VERY heavy stuff on my own, climbing ladders, laundry & cleaning. Just a few of the odd jobs I have done around the house today.
And to keep me on topic I bought a gorgeous little blue salt over the weekend

Good morning/afternoon, glassies. Crazy last day and a half...won't bore you. Will reach a pleasant 67° today. Busy trying to list. I have what I think might be a Cambridge swan but no logo on it. I will try to get a picture shortly when the battery charges on my camera.

@itsagas : I'd call that Vase Helios Green.

@rousemark : Pretty much the same with me. I'm not doing a whole lot on glass now. Same reason, as you say, the bottom has pretty much dropped out of the old glass market except for very high end rarities. And you sure can't find enough of those to make a living on. I'll keep my license & tax # active for a few more years & do a little here & there, but I'll be 65 in 3 months, so I'm kind of "semi-retired" now anyway. There are no worthwhile shows around anymore to sell at, mall booths have gotten outrageous up here for rents & fees, and with the long distances between them, you'd burn up what little profit you might make in gas keeping them stocked. At this point & age, I'm not going to spend 24/7/365 doing that rat-race. It was worth it 15-20 years ago, but not now.
