Good morning glassies! Raining pups and kittens here in ky ths morning,as with most of night.dreary,dreary.No sun today! Have a question for any anchor hocking folks.Found,a few days ago,where i had hidden it years ago,a anchor hocking, I think,a golden shell platter.This one is roughly 15 by 11 give or take.It has scalloped rim with rold trim.The old Gene Florence book gives reference to only a 9 1/2 by 13.Now,I did searches online and that size was all I found,but the thing that got me was that on all I looked at the bottom has "OVEN fireking WARE-oven proof and a number and USA. Mine does not have fireking on it at all.It has "oven proof,what looks like #19,anchor hocking,and another # again looks like 1890,made in usa and it has the anchor symbol in a square.Just curious about this.Don't plan on listing it. GAIL, thanks for the coffee,but where's MIM with all the goodies?

ALICIA No that wasn't it.What I found out was,I had 2 items that ended about the same time.somehow i got the addresses confuse and quoted the wrong price to the buyer from,(yea,me too) California.Sorry that happened to you.

Well............I see "the" discussion is still in progress.But.Has anyone done anything about it? Anything?It's easy to bitch,complain to family,friends and on this board,but if you haven't and you're not going to fight back,then(please Forgive this,I love you all)but,, shut up about it!
I have sent emails and called on the phone,both ebay and paypal this morning,and I plan to every day. It's just too easy to do nothing,or wait until someone else does..Also,ddil is an attorney,and she and a few other attorneys are looking into the matter to see if this is even legal.When i first signed up for both and clicked on the "I agree" to terms and conditions,none of all this stuff was on either..Please just start bambarding them with emails and calls,may not help,but we will have tried.

Can someone tell me where to find where you can look up an item by auction number? Also,just want to vent.How can ebay keep our money in paypal for over 2 weeks?? Hi everyone..hope ya'll are having a good 11/11/11....have this little item and would like to know what it is.It is 2 1/2"tall and the top opening is 2".Just has the sunburst pattern on bottom.opalescent scalloped top.I know.pic not good,but my little camera dies a little more each day...just trying to keep it comfy now(lol)..TIA mable

Hi all ..sure is cold here in Ky.today.Here in the mountains it was 37 this am..supposed to warm up into 70's Sat.,and Sun.Finally got my pa computer problems fixed last night all by myself...am patting myself on the back with both hands..hehe.have this little thing here i'd like you someone,or all,to look at.It is,I assume,a glass toothbrush holder.pale yellow with like an olive green base and floral design,It isjust over 4 ins. tall,and 3 ins.across top and 2ins.base ,it has 4 holes..TIA and hope you guys have a great weekend....mable

Does anyone know anything about old glass toothbrush holders? I cannot for the life of me get a decent
photo of this.It is glass;about 6" tall;approx 5 inches across top..4 holes.The color is like the color of vaseline as it looks in the container.
It has a darker (green)base with small collumns,and a floral pattern.Where would i search for it.really pretty..

Hi everyone...I'm back.Have been really sick,but since probally won't get any better,i' not gonna sit around feeling sorry for me!Have been scrolling and good to see all the familiar faces. I need help with this lamp base i have.I believe it is old fenton,but maybe wishful thinking.I've had it for years,hid it back in closet after globe got broke.( toddler fingers,but God i love em!)Hope this link works.All i have so far.Have more downloaded,but can't get them uploaded to photobucket.( also would like suggestions on pic hosts).I'll get more pics on soon.It is near 13" high to top of globe holder and base is 5 3/4".globe holder is 10 1/4"round.the globe was huge! How does one go about reporting some for email and ebay messages harassment?I had an item on auction last week(sold),and this person sent me sseveral ebay messages and emails downing me really bad complaining about postage on item.she/he wasn't interested in bidding on item.I didn't put the postage on the auction,ebay did.I had already revised that item with more correct postage.Now i have an item on that is actually used with that item.Now she/he is doing same thing,says "i have same item on".What to Do?I'm fully fed up!
