• Good Afternoon Folks!
Yes, my heart surgery was a success--I wish I had it years earlier. It has partially corrected a birth defect. I can walk and swim without coughing and being totally exhausted. I am glad everyone is doing well here. Nice to see my old friend Reen here too!
I wonder if the decanter is Russian or Baltic. My mother made a trip there. It's maddening that something so clearly stamped is so elusive. She marked most everything she had that she knew. But this one still had brandy in it when I cleared it out of her place. So she never talked about it to any of us. I am worried about all our glass. It is all piled high in boxes in a storage unit. The house in Savannah has a contract on it thank goodness. It has been on the market since March. God willing that will be gone by the middle of November and we can start looking for a more permanent place.

  • Hello folks!
Long time without posting. Since you last heard from me I have undergone heart surgery, moved to Florida, and taken a new job. I just unpacked a box of mom's glass and came across this crystal cut ships decanter with a double unicorn head acid stamp. I can find nothing about it anywhere. Any help? It is very pretty. Probably 1990'2 or early 2000. Hope all is well-I hear from a few of you on other channels... Hugs, Nancy Emily (emily007)

  • Evening all! Hot here in Savannah still. @baabaamason I have seen that piece at shops everywhere in GA and Florida. I am thinking someone reproduced it in the last 10 years. I always thought it might be Northwood or English because my grandmother had a clear one with oak leaves and acorns--but I don't remember the handle/trunk feature. She kept spoons on the sideboard in it. If I can remember what cousin has it now I will ask. My mom and grandmother were big glass hounds back in the day... Me, I prefer art glass.

  • I see I signed my name up wrong---I am Emily007 or Nancy Em

  • Hello everyone! Long time "no see"! I went to the glass board to thank everyone for helping me over the years and I found this link! Glad its not going away. My hubby and I still collect glass and while I don't sell too much on eBay anymore I always liked to read your chats and look at what you had found.
We started a non profit and I did all the legal and 501c3 stuff this year and that keeps me very busy. But my daughter is getting married and me with no real job right now I posted some stuff on ebay and then went chat room catching up. That's when I found they had closed!
Good to see old and new to me faces! Will hunt for a picture for my avatar!
