@itsagas BILL ... lol, yes, it does seems as though he could be correcting his correction. I really do like how he and Paul and Sid really research and stay updated on new information and catalogs and documentation. I want to see if I can copy some of this stuff from Facebook......
Lechner's 2nd Edition corrections and notes
By Brad Gougeon and Chris Kilpack Browning in Antique Glass Salt and Sugar Shakers (Files) ยท Edit Doc
Page 26 Rib and Swirl - possibly Atterbury but no documentation exists. Same with "Big Owl".
Page 37 Beaded Oval Mirror and Seashell - no documentation that these were made by Challinor-Taylor. Evidence exists that they were made 1905 or later which was 10 years after Factory C burned to the ground.
Page 38 - same for "Horseshoe & Aster"
Page 39 - same for all 4 shakers on this page
Page 41 - "Beads and Bulges" and "Beaded Panel, Vertical" attributed by Lechners to Consolidated but with no documentation
Page 44 - "Daisy, Long Petal" - same
Page 45 - "Distended Sides" now known to be Consolidated's Venecia pattern
Page 45 - "Flower Assortment" no documentation that Consolidated made this
Page 46 - "Half Ribbed" not by Consolidated, maker unknown
Pages 49-52 - several patterns which may or may not be Consolidated. Lechners attributed based solely on color.
Page 69 - "Wild Iris" now documented to have been made by Consolidated Lamp and Glass
Page 75 - "Fern Leaf" aka Single Leaf Swirl - Bonita Glass Co. not Eagle Glass
Page 96 - "Acorn" not by Hobbs, Brockunier.... now known to have been made by Buckeye Glass Co., Martins Ferry, OH
Page 130 - "Barrel, Ringed Neck" questionable that this is by Mt. Washington
Page 131 - "Barrel, Tapered" and "Beaded Necklace" same. Beaded Necklace shown in 1889 Westmoreland Specialty Company catalog.
Page 151- "Scroll and Bulge" illustrated in original 1897 Gillinder ad per Bredehoft and Sanford's Toothpick book.
Page 188 - "Acorn, Little" While Factory C made a similar shaker, the one shown was made by Buckeye Glass Co.
Page 199 - "Fandangle" documentation?
Page 205 - "Beaded Flower" by Westmoreland
Page 207 - "Bird, Handled" probably by Atterbury & Co. based on the variety of colors in which it can be found
Page 215 - "Coreopsis" now documented to have been made by Consolidated Lamp & Glass
Page 225 - "Fancy Fans" now documented to have been made by Northwood Glass Co.
Page 229 - "Gibson Girl"
Page 236 - "Leaf Base" possibly by Hocking Glass Co.
Page 237 - "Leaf and Rib"
Page 240 - Oval Panel also known in blue and opal swirl
Page 250 - "Rib, Vertical Optic" part of Venecia pattern by Consolidated Lamp and Glass. Crystal base holder is correct for this pattern and the mold came from the Belmont Glass Co. when they went out of business
Page 256 - "Shell, Three" Consolidated Lamp and Glass
Page 260 - "Tapered Vine" same as page 75 Bonita Glass Co.
