@reen You are describing 35mm film strips. I was in the Audio-Visual club in high school & the teachers used a lot of these as teaching aids. The club members had the honor of running the projector in the class. We learned to use the various projectors (movie, slide & film strip) plus how to repair the movies & film strips when they broke.
