@dianes DIANE checking Newbounds ”Collector’s Encyclopedia of Milk Glass” on page 63, looks like your duck. The caption says ”Wavy Base Duck, 4 3/4” tall 8 1/2” long. Originally a Challinor, Taylor product, part of their Farm Yard Assortment advertised in 1891…. Challinor’s base has a 3/4” rim with wavy pattern on both sides. Reproduced by Westmoreland and by Fenton in light blue with satin finish (1977). Also in production by U.S. Glass. Westmoreland’s duck is marked with their logo and is thicker and heavier than the original, although it is only 8” long. This is a difficult piece to accurately judge the maker. The realistic glass eyes are missing on the duck pictured.”
