@songbreeze My family settled in Indiana way back in the 1830s. By the time us kids came along, my father had joined the Air Force and was stationed in the south west. Just about every year though when his 30 day leave rolled around, we made our way back to Indiana. Maybe that is why it always seemed like home to me.
The thought behind the tickets was so loving ! There is no way I could tell her that while, one more Indiana Autumn is on my bucket list, I really don't know what I will do in mid April. All my Indiana family has passed on. I do have a few scattered relatives to visit. I figured it might also give me a chance to do some on site genealogy research too. Now maybe I can add the EAPG convention to my itinerary. It sure would be nice if you could make it too!
