Glass Chatroom Board

Good morning Glass Friends,
DGD arrived at 6:00 am from North Carolina . She and a friend drove all night. They just left to go to her mom's house. DGD is an adjunct teacher at Duke Univ. She supplements her income with eBay sales where she sells mostly well known brand clothing.

We spent the past 4 hours looking at those 1940 census records. Seems an odd thing for a 36 year old to be so interested in. She is bound to find all of her relatives. My family and and a favorite great aunt just seem to have been missed. We checked the records for the small town-villages where we know they lived. Found the close neighbors and my uncle's family. We'll probably keep looking when she comes back here from her mom's house.
@pareidolia Later today I'll check my Ruth Webb Lee EAPG book for the shapes of some of your covered dishes. Had never paid a lot of attention to those. Though I do believe that I have one in my unlisted inventory.
