Thanks, Gail, that helps me to do some more research. Since no glass seems to be worth anything anymore, probably wasting my time, but it is so pretty!
Jim, I am in Vermont, not Delaware. And things are lovely right now in Vermont.

Marson – for larger letters I always use h1 or h2 inside the brackets found above the , and . on the keyboard and of course if anything comes after, I use /h1 or /h2 inside same brackets to stop it

We felt the quake here in West Rutland, VT, too. Felt like something big moving under the house, from east to west. DH felt it but thought it was a muscle spasm in his butt. LOL

reen, if printing with Ebay, be sure you have selected"any lazer printer 8.5 X 11" on the printing drop down that is located right under the mailing date. It sounds like yours may be set to a label printer, which is not what you want.

Reen, where are you printing your labels? On Ebay they should print on the top half of the sheet. Mine always do and always have. Let me go look and see if there is somewhere on Ebay to make an adjustment. It could be your printer settings. Go in and make sure your top and bottom margins are set for one inch or less.

oh Gail, don't tell me that! I had a Kodak printer for the past 3 years and really loved it. And the ink was so reasonable and easy to replace. I only got the new one because I wanted wireless. I was hoping the one they replaced was a rare occurrence.

Shelly, My Kodak printer that I bought in February wouldn’t pull the paper. It kept saying the paper tray was empty, I’d push the reset button, it would give same message, I’d hit reset and third time, it would pull the paper. After about a week of fighting with it, I called Kodak, and they sent me a brand new printer! I got it about 2 weeks ago. Andit is so nice not to have to fight with it.
George, I print Priority 90% of the time. I can print everything I need to from Ebay and Paypal except for the Regional Rate c. I don't need any Pitney Bowes equipment or services (except as provided by Ebay) for any of it.

Reen, I emailed a link for you, but for anyone else wondering, they are called "half sheet shipping labels". Hundreds available for a variety of prices. Quality better on some than others. And after printing on the wrong side of the label more times than I care to admit, I finally decided it was worth it even if they cost a little more, to buy the ones with yellow backs.

I print now using Ebay. If you use Paypal. it sends you to the Ebay site anyway, except for UPS. UPS can't be printed on Ebay. I occasionally use USPS, you have to use it for regional flat rate C as neither Ebay or Paypal lets you print those. I'm not sure what George is talking about when he says you have to go to PO. I pay for mine right on the USPS site.
I use self stick labels. When you print as many labels a day as I do, (printed 22 labels today) it is worth the small expense. I buy my labels on Ebay, 400 for $20 including postage so it cost me about 5 cents a label. Probably costs half that for tape and paper, but it saves a lot of time and packages look nicer.

Seamus is now 7 weeks old and he weighs 1 pound 12 ounces. The vet says that is very small for a kitten of that age, but he is healthy and eats well. I think he will be a small cat, but time will tell.

Julie – I always buy the sugar free one, Only 40 calories per cupful. And it keeps for well over a month, about how long it takes me to use a half gallon.

Marty - You should give almond milk a try. Not everybody likes it, but I love it in my cereal and my coffee. It has a nice flavor, twice the calcium of milk and less than half the calories. I also like to use it to make pudding. much better tasting than skim milk and fewer calories, too.

Marty, now I'm jealous LOL. It has been really hard for me to get the birds to come back since we had to cut down the big apple tree to get equipment in to do foundation repairs. I had lots of feeders when I had the apple tree, but now I have only the one feeder and it is on a pole out in the open.

Some simple things in life are just such a pleasure! I have a small flower garden with a bird bath and bird feeder about 50 feet from the window beside my computer. I really enjoy looking at the flowers when they are in bloom and there are birds at the feeder and bath almost every day, often lots of them. About 4 days ago, a large bright male cardinal showed up and he has been back each day. He is there now. For some reason, just seeing him brightens my day. When he shows up, I just stop what I am doing and watch him. It doesn't take a lot to amuse me.

Helen, I posted before reading all of what was posted after I last visited. I just saw your comment about me. How very nice of you!! You made my day.
Reen, Pyrex used to do a lot of custom designs for restaurants, factory cafeterias, etc in the 1950s. Since that pattern does not show up anywhere on any of the Pyrex identification sites, I would guess it was a custom design for a specific client. You might be able to get info if you email a picture to Corning Glass Works.

I void 3 or 4 labels a week, it seems. Takes 3 weeks or more to get refund if it was printed on Paypal. Ebay keeps getting faster. The last refund I got took 13 days, they also used to take about 3 weeks.
The reason it is not instant is because they want to be sure you didn't use the label before issuing a refund.

Vera Scarves were made by Vera Neumann. She started making them form parachute silk during WWII, all hand painted and later opened a factory. Her first logos were just the name VERA, very large in one corner, then in the 1960s, she started making op-art scarves and added the ladybug logo to her signature. She dropped the ladybug in the 1970s and changed the size of VERA to a much smaller size. She continued to make scarves until 1991 and died in 1993. All of her scarves are collectible, but the 1960s ones with ladybug, the op-art ones, and the silk ones are the most valuable. She made over 20,000 different scarf designs in her lifetime, so no matter how many acollector has, there are always some they do not have. -

Thanks Gail. We did get hit hard. We ahd no damge personally, but roads closed everywhere so couldn't get anywhere for a while. They will open Route 4 tomorrow. That has been a HUGE problem. I went to Maine last weekend and had to go 80 miles out of my way because of road closures. Made a usual 3 1/2 hour trip take over 7 hours. But everyone is pulling together and working hard to get things back to normal. Or our new normal.
