@chatsworthvintage ELAINE …. Glass is crystal and crystal is glass. Crystal is used to describe colorless glass. What most people mean when trying to determine if something is glass or crystal is what is the lead content…. glass vs. lead crystal. Generally the clarity of the glass and the ring-tone of the glass are clues to a higher lead content. Someone will surely correct me if I am wrong.

You might be wondering why some of the @ signs you use before a name show up in blue and some don’t. Those that show up in blue mean an email is sent to that person (unless they opted out) to let them know someone has mentioned them in a post. Many people have 2 names….the one seen and displayed here in the forum (chatsworth)(oklahomasong_Gail) and the one they use to log-in (chatsworthvintage)(songbreeze). Some people have the same name for both display (reen) and for log-in (reen). To use the @ sign and have the person notified you have to use their log-in name, not their display name. You can find that by clicking on their display name or clicking on their avatar and then looking to the right and it will show up … best to do it in a different window though if you plan to mention more than one person as you will lose what you already wrote in your post!!

I just did a spread sheet with everyones display name and log-in name so I just check it. Glad to send that to anyone who emails me.
