Glass Chatroom Board

Good barely afternoon glass friends. Beatiful day but a chilly 35 degrees here in Indy. We slept in until 9:00 a.m. this morning. I had gone back to bed at 5:00 a.m. Guess 5 hours of sleep at one time is about what this old body needs. Not bad at 4 hours of work and 5 hours of sleep.
I think my glass cutting problem is solved. A few weeks back we measured each piece in our plate glass inventory. I think we have 2 pieces that will work for my current show case need. Need to get DH to help get them out and remeasure. I haven't checked in a couple of years but last time I did check the charge was $6 for each cut and polish.

@decoqueen --- Lovely glass but I had always thought of custard glass being more translucent. Still---- have to chalk up the 'what-do-I-know' ?

Can't believe that I finally wrote and posted the listing for those ebony petal footed sauce / sherbets that I asked to have IDed weeks ago. Just got tired of seeing those pictures on my sandisk.
