WOW! Scrolled the posts for the past few days and learned a lot along with some new websites. You are all so smart about glass it's truly amazing.
Lainey....So sorry to hear about your car. What a horrible thing to go through. If they do not find it, now I don't know how old or new your car is, but did you have the GAP insurance? I would recommend that to anyone. Praying they do find your car though and quick.
Kelli.... Beautiful glass (as usual), the sweetmeat dish, did you find the maker or pattern yet? Wanted to mention to you about some art glass I found. It is a pair of some kind of covered urns or vessels, not sure what to call them. Anyhow there is a label on them it is green and white with the name "PAULY & CO" which I had never heard of. Upon research I guess they are the oldest glass maker on the Isle of Murano (still doesn't help me to figure out what they are). I emailed the company and they asked for pictures which I sent and now they are going through their archives from the past 100 years to try and ID them for me. Keeping my fingers crossed they will know what they are. I only mention to you because you are so good with art glass and I was wondering if you had ever heard of them before?
Sorry that was so long.
Sue (MaineWildeRose) Congratulations on the exciting news and best of luck to everyone.
Laurie (Wellingtonct) Do you live in Wisconsin too?
So many more posts to read, I doubt that anything has gone unidentified but will take a peak anyhow. Like I would know what it is anyhow. LOL!
