Good Morning everyone. Hot and humid is the predicted day ahead of us down here and maybe a storm later. Yesterday was hot but perfect for Miss P's Naming Ceremony. It was a lovely Ceremony I was very proud of the choices my DD made with the whole thing. I have never been to one like it before.
DD decided against having tradditional Godparents. Each Grandparent had a little blessing to read out, that DD chose and then the guests (Close family) were also given a little blessing they were to read to Miss P. DD & SIL chose this style as they wanted those at the ceremony to all be mentors in Miss P's life. To guide her , to help her , to encourage her & to be there for her through her life's journey.It was truly a beautful Ceremony.
I had planned on getting pics of the banquet table once I had it all set up, with lace tableclothes and clear & pink "antique" glass. But things didn't work out that way. As I was setting the food out ppl were eating and others jumped in to help put the bowls on the table.It was a hot day so everything was kept in the fridge until it was time to eat.
