Good morning, glassies.
CARL ... I read of your winter weather and can only be thankful that we've barely been touched by cold. It's probably one of the mildest winters I can remember here in the past 18 years. Today is a little chillier than the past few days...we should reach 64. Last week we reached 82 one day!
SHELLY ... It's the EAPGS (Early American Pattern Glass Society) facebook page Don and I are working on. I started posting the members' photos in April of 2014. To date, I've pasted and listed ID information on more than 6,000 photos into albums. We have albums that start with each letter of the alphabet and place the photo according to the first letter of the pattern name. Don has made albums by forms...placing all cake stands in an album, all table sets; all butter dishes, etc. He's working on making albums with motifs...circles, diamonds, scrolls. He's helping me put the main albums in alphabetical order and I'm trying to make Title boxes of the patterns. Facebook has a lot of limitations and we can't work it as easily as our regular word processing, but I think we will have the photo albums a lot more user friendly for people looking for ID's and an overview of shapes, forms and colors of patterns.
