@wjweese Wendy -- oh my goodness, what you and your DH have been through!!! I am so glad he's okay and that you're starting to feel better too. Missed seeing you here, hope now that things are settling down you'll be around more often.

We survived the snow -- got around 2 feet in our part of NJ. DS did most of the shoveling, DH did some. DS was very nice and completely cleared my car off. As his car normally lives on the street in front of our house, he eventually went out yesterday afternoon and cleared a space for his car. Driving into town this morning was a mess. They were clearing the parking spaces along the sides of one of the main streets, which slowed traffic. The municipal lot where I usually park was closed off while they cleared it. I wound up parking several blocks from my destination (and couldn't get close enough to the parking meter to feed it) and walked. Not all of the stores had shoveled their parts of the sidewalks yet so I had to make it through 2 to 3 foot drifts in several places. By the time I got to my yoga class, I was more than warmed up.
