Glass Chatroom Board

Happy Birthday, Diane! And for you glassies, I have a question.... friend has a number of these footed glasses (I've emailed her to find out how many - she told me yesterday she has no clue what they are and her hubby sent a few pix this morning. I suspect they may be AH Soreno (sp?) or similar....;pattern looks almost like some tall glasses my mom had here. Anyone know? She will want to sell them, but I will probably steer her toward a FB group - I have nearly dumped ebay in favor of specific fb groups for listing....I think it is very like ebay used to be before donahoe screwed it all up. I don't like FB for the chatty stuff, but special groups - yes!! I'm in a very low population state (actually the lowest, now) and so I can list things in a group covering a couple hundred square miles and meet someone somewhere in a parking lot and offload items, or pick up something I've bought. Working out well. We're selling some big automotive stuff for a couple of friends, but wx is so bad that's not doing well yet. Has anyone else found this to be a good way to either FIND or sell things? I was surprised when I stumbled into one of the groups and began looking at FB in a whole other light.
