Shelly @shellyrae37 Cancer seems to touch so many lives. It really does make me sad that so many ppl have to suffer. It is such a cruel disease. My friend is in unbearable pain and has been in hospice for a few weeks now. They are trying, without any success to manage his pain. Makes me want to cry. I know the pain and suffering my poor DH went through. Breaks my heart to know others are going through it.
Sue @mainewildrose My reference's says it came in flint, pearline and blue and was produced in 1891. No mine doesn't have the registry mark and I did wonder if another company may have copied it but couldn't find any reference to that. The milk glass is a "thick" MG not the "washy" type with the fire that you would see on very early items (hope that makes sense LOL) So I was also thinking that Davidson must have done the MG much later. I have just looked closely to see if I could see any Fenton mark but nothing. The mystery continues. But I think maybe you could be right and its a Fenton copy.I just need to find some concrete evidence Thanks for your help
