Now, I'm working with a handicap - keys missing on my keyboard R and W and the BACKSPACE, and my inevitable typing errors, so it takes me ages to get a proper message typed, unless those two letters aren't needed and i make no errors at all (hah!)
Local auction fella came by yesterday to look at my stuff and surprised me by saying he'd take the majority of it and put it on ebay! 25% cut only. Pretty fair deal since it gets it out of my sight, I don't have to deal with the ebay end of it myself. Only thing I was iffy about is some folks selling glass on ebay, that really don't know about glass, make mistakes like omissions in descriptions, fuzzy pictures, leaving out dimensions, no pictures of the base, etc. so, he was willing to let me do some descriptions, make the attributions, save him the research. He naturally feels he'd have to double check my attributions, he doesn't of course realize I'm a Glassie (LOL)! I'm willing to do it, happy to really, to speed things along. Since he runs a brick and mortar shop, real estate auctions, and local auction house as well as onside auctions, we've agreed on four months time frame, 11/1 deadline for getting my stuff ebayed. Good to be closed to Christmas season. There'll be a written contract and a detailed inventory of each piece.
Never done anything like this before - can I ask a glassie's opinion?
