@glassusa Bob, way to go on the rooster planter -- who'd have thought it would do so well. So sorry to hear about the Candlewick toast set. Perhaps you could put a note in the auction -- maybe say that it's never actually been sold, there was a deadbeat bidder. I had something similar (though not nearly so valuable) some years back. Found a Hofbauer Byrd cordial set (decanter and little glasses) quite cheaply. Sold for a really great price on eBay but top bidder disappeared. Did the second chance offer -- nothing. So I relisted it and sold it for substantially less than the original auction. Still made a few dollars on it, but not what it could have been.
