Hi, all. I'm one of the few collectors of flip-top bowls, made of glass, vitrified china and rarely metal. I have what I thought was a flip-top bowl when I bought it on ebay last year, but when it arrived I did not know what it could be. It is about 4 1/2" in diameter, and the lid does not open to allow a spoon, so it's not for sugar, salt or condiments. It is stamped England, and also J.C. & Sons. Does anyone have any idea of who the manufacturer was, time period, and what this thing is?! I've uploaded a bunch of photos to my website: http://susan-phillips.com/photos-2014/ Thanks for any help!
