Carl - WOW !!!! Impressive job on all the BAR stock & overall layout. I remember as a pre-teen helping my Uncle who was a paraplegic work on his attic layout (30 X 60), on handmade tables with the only access to reset trains, etc. was by a mechanic's creeper. He had over 300 pieces of rolling stock that was immaculate - all Lionel purchased during the late 40s & 50s, which he kept in the original boxes when not on the layout. He was hospitalized while I was in the service & the family sold everything, lock, stock & layouts for a song. I remember Mom telling me that they cut up the layout with a chain saw to get it out of the attic.
Keep posting pics of the layout - brings back memories !!!!
