Don, About a year ago we lost a family member to a drug overdose----- the mother of 3 of our great -grandchildren. Her mother is a good friend. The two of us kept trying to bring some reason to this terrible event. We finally told ourselves that if the mother was going to go down that road the children might be better off with out her.
The children are under the care of their father and a new mate.Our DD, their grandmother, is now tutoring all three of them. The now 13 year old boy recently commented that " We have never had it so good.
