Reen: Some people don't leave funds in their paypal accounts or have them set up to immediately pay. I don't want ebay having immediate access to my bank account, nor do I use credit cards. If I am going to bid on or buy something, I have to either have enough funds in my paypal account or I have to add funds, which can take 3-5 business days (or I buy a greendot card to add funds immediately). If I plan on bidding on an auction, I usually try to add the funds several days before the auction ends, but sometimes I have to wait a day or two before the funds arrive. I always inform the seller what is happening and what day the funds are due to be there.
