MIM - I believe AMBER called it correctly Wafer cookies. Bland cake cone like wafer with filling. Not too sweet and often a couple would come with a dish of restaurant ice cream, way back when.
Nabisco makes one in vanilla called Biscos I think. They may have more flavors now. Other companies make them in varieties with chocolate, vanilla and PINK (lol) ... fake strawberry flavor?
My favorites were ones I used to find when going through NY and stayed with friend in Rochester. They were a thicker wafer and came in chocolate or vanilla. I used to stock up big time and was always a sad day when the last ones were gone.

FENTON - was going to ask what a pony bowl was (I am a horse person so any equine word make my ears perk right up) but then saw pic with horse head to figured it out LOL. Is that a real name? Pony Bowl? or just because of the design you called it that. Is there a significance to 10 ruffles?

'Nother question about the art glass ewer. The way the handles are applied at the base between the one online and the one BAABAAMASON put up are different The online one (and a third example???) seemed to have at least three "fingers" of glass at the attachement point. One down and one pointing out at each side. BAABAAMASON's seemed to only have one "finger" pointing down.
Now, I know that with books that one small "point" can make a big difference in what you have. Is that something to look for in glass? The exact way that things are put together? Or can there be differences and still be correct?

    So much to learn.
