Just reading the board.
Helen, I have done many transactions on CL. I state in the listing I only take cash. and then I also check the cash when I'm paid. I always put my phone number in the ad so they have to speak to me. Too many scammers in the world today. And the one you mentioned is a BIG scam. Be careful!!!
