This will be my first try at doing the @ with name thing to ABZOID. Will see if I break the board. lol
It was starting to snow when I fed tonight. dragged some more hay to feeding area and filled water tanks. That will save walking in snow if it accumulates. I have been so lucky to not have a lot of snow but at the same time we really need the moisture.

@abzoid - I collected red glass for a few years starting in the late 60's. I loved the cobalt but it was much more expensive. I liked the red too and that is what I used to get. I had at least 100 pieces and sold a lot of it in the 80's. I may be down to 40 or so. It is in a box waiting for me to finish house and get it out. At one point I was trying to get a sets of plates, glasses, sherbets and like cereal bowl size. I did not know proper names. Just got what I liked. Probably sold the best stuff. Think the crystal stems with ruby bowls got sold. I am not a frilly foo-foo type person. Wish I had been as that is probably the higher end glass now. I like the plain rolly polly glasses and had at least two sizes. Most of the plates and bowls were plain or very simple patterns. Think pressed rather than cut. My favorite piece is probably a big cake? plate. It has to be 14 inches or so and I want to say the pattern might be star and ball. Does that name make any sense? I have not been into the box for close to 20 years but it seems like yesterday.
I pick up glass and pottery now and then but as I am prone to dropping things when my hands don't work probably not a good idea. lol
I have a huge set of glass that was my GGP or GGGP in a sort of a yellowy-apricot color. They are buried in a room that need to be gone through. I glanced at it about 6 years ago when pipes froze and I had to move things other wise they have been packed since being brought from my GPs house in 1987.

When i first got my computer and met some ebayers I went to some auction in the Chicago area when I was there for the winter. with thoughts of reselling. Never did figure out the selling part or every time I did, ebay went and changed something and I had to relearn. Bought some glass box lots and sold six individual salt sellers that were cut and etched if memory serves. The guy who wanted them was just about salivating. (like the Keno's do on Roadshow when a great piece of furniture comes in) I know they were good and he was probably going to resell them. Think I let them go for about $6 or $8 each but that paid for the box just about and I had what I wanted from the box. Got the nicest late fifties early 60's drink set. Did some research on it. They are gold pattern, sort of Egyptian or Greek. Maybe gold and black. High balls, pitcher and a rack I think. Signed by the designer. Looked it up at the time but can not remember his name. Really should find them and get some on to sell them for me.

My extent of glass collecting now is getting excited when I find and old, non-exploding, pyrex custard cup at a thrift. lol

SUNWOMAN/Janice- Do you mean garage sale for you to buy from or to sell on? I wish I had the know how to make a selling buying site similar to ebay. Friend in Michigan's UP goes to a face book thing called YOOPER RUMAGE SALE.
