Thanks for the warm welcome and the additional input! I guess when we put the glasses into the estate sale we'll label them as very rare and price them accordingly Haha!

That last post looks like I'm questioning your judgment. I'm not - I was just so surprised to find out they weren't much, much older than that.

gabla, it looks like you are correct, though I would have bet a lot of money that there is no way these were made as late as 1967. The ridiculous weight and the quantity of bubbles made me think they had to be much older and lower-tech than anything made that recently. Thanks for the help!

Hello! I'm visiting from the book board and I'm horrible with glass. I'm desperate for your expertise! We have a set of seemingly very old drinking glasses. They are cobalt blue, VERY heavy and full of bubbles. You can see a bubble in the rim near my index fingers, big bubbles at the bottom and there are smaller bubbles all through them. Any help appreciated!
