Happy Thanksgiving All - I saw Fenton's post about Goodwill. Our Goodwill is now selling books on Amazon. They only put out the junk. I am pretty sure they will make a mess of it, but it will be a while before that happens. Beth

I still maintain that they don't have the right to do that. Can't wait until they are sued. Wasn't facebook sued because they used people's pictures as a banner on their site?

I'll read about the watermarks now.

Morning All - Lost my link to the board but I still had bob mason's email! Lucky me. The daily question is....about ebay's new photo requirements. When they say no writing on the pictures, they aren't talking about my name that plaster on all of mine? or are they talking about descriptive writing? I'm certainly not giving away pictures for the whole world. LOL

katie_delano - Is it signed on the bottom? Can you tell if it is handmade? I do see decanters every day at GW. Did the Simon Pearce people have anything to say about it?

Gail - Oklahomasong - There is a link at the bottom of my auctions saying I am the owner of this take it down. Then it says....if you don't want us to use your stuff in the future, put your selling name here. Somebody is going to come along and get them. Can't wait.....

Anybody have information on Worthpoint and getting them to remove ebay auctions that they lifted? Beth

Any pottery peple here today? I found some hall brown drip small dishes that look like salts. On the back it says Hall, made in USA, 1919. Can't find much info on them. Does anyone know what they are? Beth

Evening All - I found some Hazel Atlas New Century Amethyst Tall Tumblers today. The Weatherman Book on Depression Glass says they are really called Lydia Ray. Is that true? I only saw one sale for the purple tumblers on ebay - so that is not a lot of info for me. Does anyone know how is the market for them? Beth

Raining here and temperature is in high 50's for the day. We have only had one snow storm this winter. Not complaining.

Sent a book to Australia this morning and this is the name of the town. Humpty Doo, Northern Territory. I just love it.

Here is a non-glass question - Does anyone have the netflix $8.00 / month plan? Does it have all tv and movies or just some? I am wondering if I can get rid of my FIOS TV and DVR and switch to netflix. Thanks, Beth the technology challenged.

Fran2 - I believe you can get delivery confirmation if it is a first class mail package vs a letter. What you have to do is to go to the USPS site, choose Holland and try it both ways. Beth

More on the ebay discussion - Has anyone tried etsy? There are some vintage things there. It is a fun site. I don't know about selling there.

As far as ebay's future, I am not sure they have any interest in the small seller. I think they are going in the opposite direction of ebay's early days.

There have been changes on multiple levels simultaneously. Some we have no control over. Ebay did make it easier for people to use and now every knucklehead out there sees opportunity here.

I also see ebay setting up the site for research by buyers and sellers alike. There are no surprises left. I barely see books about collectibles in the bookstores now. Everybody searches the pictures on ebay for identifications. The copy cats are right on top of a new listing, flooding the marketplace.

Shelley - There is a possibility that the stemware is new. I remember those salt and pepper shakers too. No idea what they are called though. Beth

I am fed up with ebay too. I believe that providing a tracking number will release the funds. I usually have one from my online mailing software. We have discussed going to another site before. I don't believe other sites have the traffic that ebay does at the moment. That could change. Beth
