And the two "biggest" Jewish holidays are over. Last week, from Saturday to Wednesday, we were in Virginia at our daughter's to attend Rosh Hashanah services with her (Tuesday & Wednesday, with a celebratory dinner Monday evening). This week we went down to Virginia on Tuesday, home today, to be with her for Yom Kippur (Wednesday evening and all day Thursday). It was good to be with her and the very lovely community at the synagogue she belongs to, but it is also good to be home.
