Just found out that they found my cousin, Edward Bolstridge this afternoon at around 2PM. The Canadian Border Patrol spotted his car from the air on a dead end logging road at the border deep in the north woods. A Maine Warden Service team was directed to the scene & his body was found near his car. The medical examiner will have to determine the cause of death. What he was doing where they found him, well, we will likely never know. It was on a gravel logging road a good 50-60 miles from the nearest civilization of any kind, northwest of the small town of Allagash. That, by road, is probably a good 150-160 miles from his home in Fort Fairfield. At least now his immediate family & his grandchildren will have some closure.
