@shellyrae37 Shelly, good to see you here. The home contractor industry has been severely affected by the pandemic -- everyone who was stuck at home decided to do a home renovation. My son just bought a condo (one bedroom apartment in a complex of two story buildings). It's fairly old and the small kitchen and bathroom definitely need to be upgraded. He found a good contractor, but he won't be available to start working until February! Meanwhile, my son & his friends have painted the living room and started putting together his Ikea furniture. As our son has been living with us, there's no real rush for him to move into the new place. The best part is that it's only about four blocks from us so he'll still be available to cat sit and to come to dinner occasionally.
