Good Morning. Easter holidays are upon us here and the most popular thing for most families to do is to go away camping or holiday at the beach . With all the restrictions now, that will not be possible, there are fines for NON essential travel. I did hear on the radio this morning a lot of families are planning to pitch their tents or set up their caravans in their backyards and still enjoy themselves around a campfire. I am planning an easter Egg hunt for my Grandkids, via Zoom. DD will be including a note, among their eggs, from the Easter Bunny to say he has hidden some eggs at Grandmas. We should have a lot of fun with that.I think the secret to surviving all this it to stay positive and look for ways to have a little fun. I might even camp in my backyard too and do a video call with some friends/family who I usually camp with this time of year. No reason why we can't still enjoy a campfire and camp oven meal, a glass of wine and each others company.
Carl @carma lucky for me I have totally avoided all the stupid ppl panic buying, pushing, shoving and fighting over items. Worst was happening here while I was safe in Nepal. And being in isolation when I arrived home saved me from it for another 2 weeks. My little local supermarket around the corner is nice and quiet and has all the basics I need so will stick with them. I just heard on the radio that some Pharmacists and shop assistants are still copping abuse from customers and even to the extent of being physically assaulted. Madness!!!
